The easy one is rubbish, it left a greasy feeling on everything and no bubbles.....avoid!

I just tried the sainsburys basics and I'm impressed, it's almost as good as fairy, looks like fairy as same colour/texture....going to stock up :)
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Another vote for also washing up liquid . I find the really cheap brands FALSE economy as you have to use so much for them to work .

I always buy fairy. I just don't seem to go through as much of it. So thanked Mirry for their post. I usually stock up when I see it on offer too. Haven't seen it for a while so run out last week, borrowed a bottle of persil from mum to save me going to the shops, and I've gone through half a bottle already  So as they say on the fairy ads. "I hardly ever buy Fairy!" And back to fairy for me :)

    Absolutely agree.

It truly is a false economy to think any other washing liquid can compare to Fairy.

I just buy the big bottles when on offer to stock up and I literally spend just a few quid a year as you only need a couple of spurts to wash the dishes.

Fairy is king, as mentioned the big 1.2L bottles are sometimes on offer for £2 worth buying a couple. Quite often xmas time or bbq time they are on offer.

The Aldi Magnum, as mentioned, for me is 95% just as good.

Another really good one is Asda's grease busting one Sloe Berry & Passionfruit (740ml) - 87p it is. 90% as good as fairy!
    PK! :money:

The asda own brand lasted me about 3 months

and the aldi magnum one lasts a long time, I love the aloe vera and cucumber one :)
  • 500ml Fairy in Farmfoods for 75p (in last year's Jubilee-themed bottles). I find this much better value than the 2-bottles-for-£1 Easy. My local Farmfoods doesn't normally stock Fairy so I guess it's a while-stocks-last thing with the Jubilee bottles.
  • In tescos they are selling big bottle of original fairy liquid 1200 ml for £2
  • I have a big bottle of Asda 'Chosen By You' washing up liquid which I bought last September. Still have more than half the bottle left!
