i have no idea how they got my address but im guessing its from the DVLA although i didnt think they would go through them to obtain it.

I think it would be wise to remove ALL ID details from this picture.
All the advisors here need are the basic facts, and Wing parking may use information on the forum against you.
Having said that, I think if they take on a registered disabled person in this way, they are due a spanking if they push this.Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0 -
Ah sorry your right i have edited my post and removed all IDs, perhaps you can do the same in your quote please?
I was hoping a little more then just basing it on the fact im a registered disabled driver as the original posts led me to believe they wouldnt go as far as obtaining my address and taking it any further.
If this is the case then i will pay up as i dont this cost going up each time or a trip to to court or car being clamped/towed from my home.
This is also over 5 months now, is there a time frame on such things?0 -
It won't ever go to court for gods sake! Wing have never ever ever issued a claim. Just ignore themWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

This is NOT the case. Clamping has been illegal for nearly a year, get real!
DO NOT pay up!
Not sure why you didn't realise they would send you letters? All PPCs get registered keeper data from the DVLA if they are AOS members, which Wing are. We didn't suggest otherwise; this is just junk mail. I am just an ordinary wife & Mum with a clear credit record and have happily ignored 3 fake PCNs and the junk mail.
And did you notice, this letter isn't from Wing, it's from PCS and is a well-known scam. Seen it before, it's too late to be a Notice to Keeper (and they call it a Notice to Owner which is misleading). It is not issued under any legislation that allows them to pursue you as the registered keeper AT ALL.

Very interesting because they are NOT trying to claim any registered keeper liability, they are trying to find out who was the driver.
So do not respond, do not tell them who the driver was. As the registered keeper you are not liable, not for this PCN as it's not being pursued under the Protection of Freedoms Act at all.
Can we see the back of that letter please, just want to check if they are misleading you on the back in the small print?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok im feeling a little better again now thank you for the reply!
For some reason i could of sworn i read that it costs these companies to obtain your address from the DVLA so not cost affective to pay for that just for the price of the ticket, but must of been on another thread when i was searching for answers previously 5 months ago.
However they have obviously got it and so i panicked when i received the letter as i thought seeing as 5 months have passed they had forgotten about it.
Here is the back of the letter.
The parts you cant see are the payment slip and ways to pay, i can post these if you need to see them however.

Costs them just £2.50 for the DVLA data!
And there's nothing on there about the POF Act nor about POPLA so they are just speculatively trying to target a driver. Do not help them!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ive since had 2 more letters, what will happen if i just ignore, will they give up or is just a letter the most they will do.
I know you say ignore and nothing they can do but i still get a bit wary when they keep sending them and dont look like they going to give uo.0 -
Think about this logically, why are they sending you letters ? Why do they keep on saying we may take you to court ? Why do they keep repeating themselves?
The reason is because they have no basis of doing so, its all bluff, take a look at this thread, take a look at the FOI request to the courts, can you see WING on there out of all those claims? Thought not, they have never issued a claim before ever

I read through that link and yes no mention of Wing.
However i have just received 2 more letters, the first ignored as before then the follow up letter.
The first says they will consider taking court action if no payment
Now the second says its a Notice of intended court action because im still ignoring.
They dont seem to be giving up, do i still ignore these letters of has it moved on to more serious nature?
Heres the website they say to look at to see the court judgments they have obtained.
