Good afternoon everyone,
Waited until i caught up (well almost) before posting today. Had a new LO here this morning (last settling in day before he starts properly on Monday), so apart from doing the dusting in the front room whilst he was asleep, i got nothing done.
However, he has now gone home, and normal LO is having a sleep on the sofa, so ive been and cleaned the hall, bathroom and toilets (proper clean, not a S and S) ive wiped down all the worktops and units in the kitchen, and cleaned the cooker hob, im about to hang up the clothes from the WM, once ive finished typing this. All i need to do now is whip the hoover around (tonight when all have gone home) clean the kitchen floor and make the packed lunches!!! DW will go on after dinner, and i might empty it tonight, or leave it til tomorrow morning!!!
Well, i feel much happier now my house is a bit cleaner - did the childrens rooms on Monday, so thats a BIG job out of the way, they will just need a swish at the weekend, and thats when i will do my room. Im also hoping to get some things listed on ebay, and i still have a load of stuff to sort out - ive basically moved all the junk from under/around the computer so that area is really nice and clean, but it is all in a big pile elsewhere now. But, all these things can be done later in the week - unless i feel up to it later (do we think i will??!!!)
Right, better get this washing out of the machine.
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

I think it's 3pm today unless they've changed it again :rolleyes:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Just as things were going smoothly for a change ,..... wilf - you found your book - come find my item for me will ya????0 -
Hi lovelies :hello:

Not totally true, but I haven't done much. It was still 2.30 before I got time to put the computer on though.....
One load of washing draped round the house - it's pouring out.
Asda shopping delivered and finally put away.
Cooked dinner and washed up and cleared away.
Watched Midsummer Murders taped from last night (does that count?)

Afternoon! Am I need of a BIG kick as I've done nothing today! My relaxed attitude is prehaps a bit too relaxed now lol. Hope no one thinks I'm bragging but am so happy today as we are finally debt free from the credit card! Dh work has finally paid all his expenses and we are now straight again and his bonus is paying for the new bits for the house and we can finally get some decent savings put away. Its such a relief after now hard its been (was only for a few months so shouldn't really complain) but I am now a total committed tight ar*e now! Went to buy the furniture today and bloke almost fell through the floor when I asked for a discount as I brought I table and mirror, worked though and he gave me 10% off!
Torianut - thanks but I don't mind DH working a lot as he has quiet spells too so is around more then. If I ever feel annoyed that hes out working a lot or that I'm having to do everything in the house, I look at my son and think I'm so lucky to be at home with him everyday as not everyone has that choice and still have a really good quality of life moneywise (now his work have sorted out his pay and we are debt free at last:j ). I have PM'd.
Well done Nicki, I too have days when I feel like a frump so your not alone

I have not posted today until I sorted out the mess from yesterday, but all tidied up and all furniture back in the right places and the carpet looks fab it's certainly brightened up the room which was the aim.
Today I haven't followed lil_me's list, master bedroom on a wed doesn't work for me so I ill leave that room until Friday, I have cleaned the bathroom and started on DD2's bedroom thought I had to as she had started telling everyone at nursery that she lived in a pig sty because her mum didn't clean her bedroom because she was messy pig - the things I say at home always manage to come back and haunt me - about half way through at least I can see the carpet and I have put all polly pocket, bratz dolls etc into one big plastic box I don't care if they are all different she plays with them all together anyway.
Cuppa nearly finished so better go and try to get some more done before tea.0 -
Why does it always start raining when you cant get to the washing line? Sun was shining when i left to pick DS2 from school and started poring when we were on way home. had to run half a mile to get back and washing wetter than when i put it out!

all done today. Bedroom is starting to look much better. Just did one cupboard in there today. I didn't want to spend all day like last week. Thing is rest of Junk in room is DH's and he would go mad if i was to chuck all his stuff away like i did my own. Even though he doesn't use most of it. He likes the new clutter free house but he's not good at parting with his own.Nothing to declare
