I put lo in the bumbo and it was so tight around him, we won't have gotten another month out of it.
I'm hoping we can get at least two months, then I won't feel like we've wasted money. I hate how everything costs!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
M&P stuff sells on really well
but don't sell it on Facebook groups as people want something for nothing. It's a very good seat for starting weaning as it's easy to clean, and the tray is very close to there body, so easy for them to grab things, if you're going down the BLW route
I did like ours for the time we used it btw
thought it was brill, just didn't get long enough out of it, but hey isn't that everything with these pesky babas.

I agree with Gilly re. seats - personally I wouldn't buy one at 6 months, as the moment they can move they don't want to be stuck in one place unless there's food to be had. I'd second the highchair suggestion - alternatively, cot with toys in it for when you need to do things like going to the loo!0

Same here, we had a cheap Bumbo off eBay it didn't last long once she knew how to move. I'm lucky I have a downstairs loo which is right next to my living room so I can have a quick pee and still keep my eye on my LO!!
I'd put him on the floor as well, we never had a bouncer/walker or anything like that. I had a playmat, but that's it. I didn't want one due to the risk of hip dysplasia as my DH had a slipped upper femoral epiphysis so just in case I didn't bother.
If you have a very non baby proofed house and have the room get a playpen for when you really need to put LO down. I have one for my mother's house as her house is not baby friendly for when she absolutely needs to put her down.Got married 13/11/10

We didnt have a chair either really. Second hand bumbo off my sis which was used for about 6wks, a bright starts entertainer thing - like a jumperoo but suitable from 4mnths and a highchair. Tbh, he used to be just happily lying on the floor and I would panic and think he needed to be entertained - 9 times out of 10 I would move him to some toys or the entertainer and he would get upset!! So was just as well to leave him!
Hope everyone is well. My birthday tomorrow, 25!!! Not that I am that fussed but hey ho....best go to sleep xxxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

I seem to remember a couple of people asking for breakfast ideas a while back... Organix recently launched a new cereal, which my LO tried for the first time this morning. She had it with yoghurt and loved it!
It's called 'Number jumble cereal (raspberry)' and is sugar free and salt free and all the usual that you'd expect from Organix. I love that brand

Happy birthday sunshine! Are you doing anything nice to celebrate? Hope you get spoilt rotten!
George slept til 7.30 today, with just one wake up at 6am! Makes a change from the 4-5 wake ups a night we had been fhaving recently.
We had a 2nd hand bumbo for G, didn't get much use out of it before his thighs got too chubby to fit!
Hope everyone has a nice day, I might take G to a car boot this morning, leave Oh at home to finish the regrouting in the bathroom.Newborn thread member

Happy birthday sunshine, oh to be 25 again
hope you have a fab day x
We're chilling out this morning and then we're going to watch my oh play cricket later, his club are having a fun day so should be lots of little people around to keep little miss amused, she is intrigued by children atm and is also obsessed with showing off her new waving skills so so long as people carry on waving back we should have a good day as the lack of a return wave leaves her mighty peeved!
Without wishing to tempt fate sleeping is improving here, the last 3 nights she's gone down at 8:45 with just the one wake up between 4:30 and 5am and getting up for the day at 8 - I feel a different person!
I don't have a seat for Shay, she hates being in anything that stops her moving around unless it's the jumperoo where she bounces like a lunatic or involves food. so I tend to leave her on the floor far enough away from anything to climb up on when I run to the loo, but she's getting faster so I think she'll have to be popped in the high chair or jumperoo if I ever leave the room pretty soon!
Hope everyone has a good day whatever your plans.0
