Another stunner! And Noah is gorgeous!! Good luck with the house.
Gosh, you have all prompted me to think seriously about starting to do exercise, putting some cream on my face and get dressed nicely more often... you look so good!! I have only recently changed my pic in Facebook because it had been like months since last time I looked decent in a pic, and that is only because you can only see like the face and a bit of the upper body, I dare not to take a pic of myself full size.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Oh, talking about Christening, how long does it take since you contact the church until you can actually do it?Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Oh, talking about Christening, how long does it take since you contact the church until you can actually do it?
I think it all depends on where you live/what your parish is like etc.
We contacted them in September 2012, had to book in for a 'preparation evening' which was just us and some other couples and they explain to you what the baptism will be like etc. We then had to wait a week before we could ring back to book in as they like you to be 100% sure you want to do it. Ours is a really popular church, and baptism is quite popular here too so when I called to book taking into account it was rememberance Sunday coming up etc and then Xmas, we had to go for January. They then arranged for the Vicar to come round to your house a week or two before to go through godparents etc and make sure they have everything down correctly.
But as I say, it could be different where you live. I know if we had chosen a different Church they would have incorporated it into the Sunday service and could have done it within a couple of weeks, but where we had him baptised it was just a baptism service.
