Catriona's Credit Card Countdown

Dating update:
:A
Dates arranged: 2.5.
One with overly long hand holder (Wed), one with man with chocolate voice (Wed week after) and the half is with a guy who wrote to me recently and seems nice. Has asked me out I've said yes and we are in the process of arranging.
(I'm really approaching this like a work stream, can you tell?)
The guy I saw last Wednesday (the one from 2 years ago) was not in touch of Thu and texted last night, but I had a read of our previous texts and now I can see where I went wrong. So armed with that knowledge, I am going to leave it completely up to him to initiate all communication for now, especially as I'm not in the same situation as I was when I was meeting him for the first time. He's going away for a 3 week holiday too, which will be a useful break.
Two more interesting men on the horizon, so we will have to see.
I am going to try and meet as many interesting people as I can, keep an open mind and keep thinking of what it is I want.* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here

Dating update no.2: :T
Happy girl. Had a few messages from the overly long hand holder - they were so nice too! Thoughtful and sweet. At the moment that's the date that I'm most looking forward to.
Nice of him to make sure our Wednesday plan is still on, and nice of him to show excitement that we are getting together. It makes me feel rather special. He has a great sense of humour, or what I've seen of it so far.
Still don't know what the plan is, but I'm not going to take over. Instead, I'll leave it to him to impress me with his manliness and decision-making:beer:
Woo hoo! It's good to feel positive and good.
I'm going out tonight and wish I didn't have to! I've pre-warned my friends that when midnight strikes, I'll be off! Getting further into sleep debt here, got to make sure I'm fresh for work.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. X* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here

7 days till pay day
Next Monday it is. I'm in countdown mode and can't wait to move forward too!
Still no payment from lodger 2 (was due 14/09) but I guess we are all busy. I'll see when she gets her act together. For the moment I won't push her.
I had a good night's sleep of 7 hours with only 2 awakenings and only brief ones. My usual 3.30 and 5.20. But I am feeling the most refreshed I've been in weeks. I've ordered some essential oils as well online, should be delivered tomorrow. Lavender for good sleep. Found an old oil burner which is very handy.
Gym after work today, whoop whoop! I'm determined together myself into a good routine!
On the money side, I've had two payments into my account
-£46 from quidco, finally after eons. Cashback from home insurance
-£33 for curtains that would have been my ex's. A little sweetener after all those broken promises
Also, I had a good chat this morning with my director and am hoping that he will give me something interesting to do!
Hope everyone is having a productive and positive Monday x* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here

Thanks ABA! So lovely of you to pop in and cheer me on. Have you got a diary too?

Lodger paid up - she's very sweet, apologised for the delay.
Then it turned out shed given me £25 less than she should have done.
I'm not sure whether to say anything or not...
I think I'll have to work it out so that it's ok for next month. I think she's got confused, that wouldn't be out of character.
Sleepy time now! X* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here

You're welcome and you found me! Lol! Glad the lodger paid, even if it was short. She sounds like a few people I know on the confusion front... Hope the week continues in good fashion:)Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500
