                    Hi folks,
ISA season is pretty much upon us, and though we don’t know what rates will be like this year yet, we're starting to do some digging and want to know if you've heard anything through the grapevine.
Things like details of Santander's new ISAs, rate changes or deals exclusively for existing customers, anything at all really!
As ever, your help is much appreciated
MSE Sally
Update 11/03/13: Santander launched their ISA today - check out the Top Cash ISA guide for the write-up - but just wanted to say thank you for all your help .

I'm waiting to hear about Santander as they are usually the best each Isa year. However I thought they had already put out their rates this time last year.
I'm wondering if they have put everything into their 123 account and not going to do top Isa rates this year.0

            Hi
I popped into my local branch who tell me new deals out on March 11th...:)0

MoneyBox did an item on this saying that rates will be poor, because the banks no longer need our capital.0

This years ISA rate better be decent ie. not less than 3% or else I'm pulling my 12k out of my Santander fixed rate isa once it matures in early April. These current ISA rates at 2.5% are hopeless and I'd rather put my money in much better return investments. Have opened an account in India offering 9% for a year, will probably stick it all in there.....0

I have a Super Direct ISA at 4% which drops to 2% at the end of March so I'm looking to move too if they can't come up with anything better. I don't feel inclined to be held to ransom by having to open a 123 account to get a slightly better rate. But if I have to...0

My ISA is currently with Santander too at 3.3% and will be dropping to 1.5% in early May!
Needless to say, I'll need to open a new one for April and decide what to do with the current one a month later. Hopefully the new one would accept transfers...0

Is that a Direct ISA Iss 9? If so the interest drops to 0.5%0

doesnt everyone fill their isa at the beginning of the tax year - no need to panic now then - i've never understood why people throw away a whole years worth of interest. nuts innit?

Not everyone has 5600 spare cash lying around at the start of the tax year Bigfreddiel. Last year I had to max out on my overdraft in March just to fill the 2011/12 one.0
