so in that case they regulate them, the dwp set the rules and regulations that the JC administer...see what im getting at?:D
Nah you're still wrong. DWP is the Jobcentre as the Jobcentre is DWP, you can't regulate yourself. Ministers make up the policies and DWP implement them, there is no regulator.

Surely this is harassment,If Im wasting time traveling to & fro & to agencies to get proof that Im registered , I cant actually look where I know the best chances are & not where the advisor says
? Any help - suggestions
? Who regulates the jobcenter as I find the line manager is on the side of the advisor ,even if they are suggesting something totally rubbish ?
Wasting people's time doesn't help them.
Most employees are paid to have commonsense, challenge bad practice, improve procedures, speak up when necessary.0 -
Yes, there is evidence, there is what the OP said

We do not know that it is a waste of time because we do not know the JCP's reason for calling him in.0 -

Not when everyline manager is not even willing to entertain your side of the story.
I had to get them a few months back to give me a photo copy showing that I signed on as usual so I was in many times & encountered most of the floor supervisors ,they all have the same attitude & made it very difficult for me even quoting the Data protection act ,they made me jump through hoops to get the information they held on me & I did win my appeal
I am intelligent enough to talk at a calm confident level ;losing it sets 1 back; & Ive seen some people lose it & have 5-6 around them & seen then in their attitude who regulates thmeselves.
I think there should be an independent authority.0 -
@5555tt My point wasn't about disbelieving you, it was simply in response to the poster who said there WAS evidence of wrong doing because someone had alleged it.
Try your MP.
You might also find the Ombudsman useful.
There are other cases if you google Ombudsman Job Centre0
