every day? what is the point? what can they do that you cannot do yourself online from home.....and who is paying for your fares/petrol for all the journeys?Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

Normally, they issue you with some sort of Mandatory Activity Notice (MAN) to outline what they want you to do, why you have to do it. how you can evidence completion and that if you fail you could be sanctioned.
MANs generally have to be pertinent to the person's needs.
If you don't need to be there, e.g. you have home internet access, then it isn't reasonable to expect you to waste time travelling to and from your home and the jobcentre.
If I recall correctly, there's no official format to how you evidence your jobsearching activity to the jobcentre. You should just be able to keep records in the way you prefer most, and bring those along.
It sounds to me like your advisors can see their jobs eroding because Universal Jobmatch will one day suggest and monitor jobsearch activity.
I wouldn't use Universal Jobmatch by the way. The majority of the jobs on there are CV libraries. You'd be better using your own outlets.
I prefer indeed online and their app for android devices.0 -
The jobcenter are forcing me to come in everyday right now,I am registered with all the agencies they suggest even before they suggest them, am on Total jobs & ,no joke at least 50 other online jobsites as well of course as Universal job .I bring in printed jobs every that Ive applied for
Surely this is harassment,If Im wasting time traveling to & fro & to agencies to get proof that Im registered , I cant actually look where I know the best chances are & not where the advisor says
? Any help - suggestions
? Who regulates the jobcenter as I find the line manager is on the side of the advisor ,even if they are suggesting something totally rubbish ?
The 2 reasons for enforcing Daily Signing, is
1. No bank account
2. No fixed abode
Do either of these reasons apply to yourself??keep smiling,

if you have a sensible MP i`d have a word with him/her IF having to sign on daily is hampering your job seeking activities
and the DWP regulate the job centre0 -

UJ is good for brief notes of what you have done.
My current record for signing on is now at 3.5 mins from entering the buidling to leaving as they can see exactly what I have been doing since I last signed.Bedroom Tax / Spare room subsidy / Housing Benefit Reduction - It's the same thing, get over it.0 -
