sorry maybe not the right place to ask but does anyone use a cheapish phone that these apps work on. My dad would treat me if he know it would help as my son takes his phone to sch so can only use it in the evening.

I had the Samsung Galaxy Y as my first smartphone. It was the only reasonably priced one I could find. All the apps worked on it.
  • Thanks I'll get my dad onto it.

So I've got my son to download the apps on his phone. Is the mysupermarket a cashback app or just to check prices? and should I also do the Quidco website one too?

One more question the Brioche Pasquier Pitch chocolate chip 6pk says claim 6 times can that be in one shop, same receipt? They would work out fab for my kids pack lunches as a treat.

    warm regards everyone

With the Brioche, you can buy 6 packs on 1 receipt, if you are claiming on Quidco :)

The My Supermarket website and app, offers some cashback offers, as well as being useful to check prices.

On the top left hand side, where there are 3 horizontal lines, I have got a red '1'. What does it mean? Also if pictures do not upload properly, how do you report from the app? I go to 'Contact Us,' then 'Please report receipts from the receipts page'. Then all I get is an 'Activity' page with a list of my earnings with dates. I can't see how you can send a message. Thanks.

just got mine 59p each plus the 1p for any receipt and 20p for the weekly draw, these are good ones for anyone who has just downloaded COS and wants a nice amount in their account

They are linked (run by the same people) so you can claim for any offers on both but they have to be separate receipts.

So do people join both checkoutsmart and clicksnap using the same Quidco account. Bit nervous as I don't really want to buy the stuff to find I never get the money back

I have the Checkoutsmart app on my phone and use the Quidco website for ClickSnap cashback. The Checkoutsmart app is not linked to your Quidco account and earnings. I couldn't tell you how the ClickSnap app works if you were thinking of using the app rather than the website, i'm not sure if the cashback is directly linked back to your Quidco account as I have no experience of using that particular app, hopefully someone else will know.

You can definitely claim and be paid cashback by using both, the email addresses I use are different for Quidco and the Checkoutsmart app but I don't believe that is necessary.

If you're nervous about it, try it out with a cheapish item that you would want anyway, don't forget if you are claiming for items from both you need separate receipts even if the claims are for different items.

Hopefully the above makes sense but if not shout and i'll try to clarify :D

If you click on the three lines it will open another page and will tell you that most probably you need to resubmit your receipt which you can do from that page. I have found it easier to email them rather than use the app if I had concerns.

As long as u don't use same receipt to claim for quidco and COS u should be ok. I am always careful if the offer is the same for both sites but you are fine to have both accounts and pick and choose the offers that suit.
