hey buffy ... i have a sad lamp and have to admit i find it makes a difference, with me working night shift i can go a whole week without seeing daylight in the winter, my sad lamp helps me have some energy and not feel so tired

Aww, I do like your lovely man, even though I don't know him.

I've wondered about the SAD lights too, as my mood is much lower in winter, and I struggle to be *actually* happy (as opposed to just 'not sad'). I keep meaning to research them, being the horrible old cynic that I am, although the anecdotal evidence is quite compelling.

Hurray for tidy bedrooms (all the better for entertaining gentlemen friends... :rotfl:). I decided to clear out my wardrobe and reorganise it today. About 5 minutes in, I realised what a mistake THAT was. About 4 hours in, I eventually began to be able to see the bedroom floor again, and other than a pile of empty coathangers, and a pile of 'random stuff', I have almost finished. It looks great. Bit worried that I have room for more clothing now though! :D

I did wonder the same El, and especially as our garden here is quite low maintenance, so I'm not spending as much time outside as I was in Leeds. Having said that, just being in Edinburgh makes me happier in general, so maybe it will all balance out. Can't wait for spring though!!
