Nokia Lumia 800 v 620
Interested in people views on the Lumia 800 v 620.

Now both phones can be had for roughly the same price now, I haven't done a complete search but they come in around the £150 mark. I did spot that O2 had the 620 recently for 130, and tesco are doing the 800 sim free for 145 at the moment.
I'm considering going with the 800, its just that I prefer the screen, when I saw them side by side and it has an FM radio that I would actually use. The downside is you can't expand the memory no microSD slot, although not sure I would need too. Camera looks cracking too, and I do use my phone for taking pictures when out and about.
The 620 however has the dual core processor and is of course the newer bit of kit running windows 8. Only 8GB but you do have the option for microSD.
Am I being silly considering the 800? I just think it will suit my requirements better.

I would go for 620 purely due to windows 8.0

Not at all. If the 800 will be better for you then go for that. Seems like you have sensibly weighed up the pros and cons for each phone so you know which one is better for your own use.
Well I am trying too, however I never thought I would play angry birds on my current one, or use it when out shopping to check prices, so I'm just wondering what if. Will I need/use NFC for example, is this the next "big thing"?
I tend to keep phones for a few years, so not sure. By the time I think I have made a decision something else will worth considering.0 -
A family member has a Nokia Lumia 800 and I think it is a great phone for the money. Super display, lots of memory and the camera is reasonable.
Yes, it is last years model and will never get Windows Phone 8 but out of the box it is fine.
Phones 4 you had it as a PAYG upgrade for £120 (T-Mobile) to £150 o2. I think the phone comes unlocked.
You might still find one there (in store only).0 -
The 620 is better in pretty much every way, to be honest.
It's only built in storage and the camera's mega-pixels (and don't fall into the trap of believing that mega-pixels are the be all and end all) that it falls short on.0
