Hi all. What is this 'natracalm???' please JoeHel. This last week I have been a nightmare to live with, we are under alot of stress at the moment-and boy do I mean ALOT of stress. If this natracalm can calm me down-I presume it's herbal ish as opposed to drug ish??? Please tell me and also where I can get it from please?? thanks in anticipation.

Hi cath. Natracalm is a herbal remedy to help relieve stress. It's not a long-term thing that you should take for weeks but it is non-habit forming and completely safe. I did NOT want to replace nicotine with another drug!!

I remember buying them years ago when I had a particularly stressful time at work and they really helped. They just calm you down a little bit (but you don't get drowsy or feel spaced out or anything). They just bring a little "ahhhhhhh" into your life ;)

They come in a green box and are made by the same company who make Natrasleep. I think you can get them in Boots or Superdrug or any chemist. Even supermarkets sell them where the vitamins and stuff like that are. They are not expensive.

It does also help to accept the fact that some of the rage we are currently experiencing is justified and completely real, but it's a result of ignoring all the little things that have wound us up in the past but we've had a little "time out" with our ciggie and chosen not to do anything about it at the time.

In the last couple of weeks I have had to deal with a few comments on how my quitting smoking has turned me into a bit of a whinger. I just reply "oh, so is it my not smoking that causes you to leave all your dirty dishes in the sink and not walk one foot further to put them in the dishwasher then?" No! It has ALWAYS wound me up but I never used to say anything.

So basically I accept that this rage will soon be over (when I've finally let out some of the things I've been bottling up for years) BUT I need to find a way to do it that is calm and controlled! :D

:hello: have a great weekend everybody :hello:

I am at home this weekend - having a good clear out and clean. I also have some revision to do so will probably spend the weekend popping on and off here and not get much else done :rotfl:

11 days today and I have just bought a couple of weeks supply of patches to keep me going. I have stayed on the high strength but may move down a level after this 2 weeks if I am feeling alright. I am covered in lovely sticky bits from the residue of the patches - luvvely :p

    all the best xoopsx

ps - woo hoo I have now saved over £50 from not smoking :T not taking into consideration the patches though :o

    Hi basilcat
Thank you for my congratulations on day 10....

No, didn't start a new job today.... I am (best part) retired but do the odd day of training to pay for hols...

Yes, the day went very well annd the group were lovely. Several nabbed me over lunch to talk about giving up and looking for some 'pointers' / ideas / inspiration to make the leap for themselves!!

All in all a very positive experience and I get paid, too!!

Hope the weekend is good to you.
