  • Get the feeling this is a bit of a grumpy thread at the moment. I have been very busy doing my garden and pretending to do my course work (although due in next Tues so can't keep pretending!) so haven't been able to post as often - I am around though and do keep up. It really isn't anything personal (honest) and I still thank this thread daily for my quitting success.
    love and hugs
    IDA
    xx
PS: Well done Remi - quitting is a good feeling isn't it!!
    I stopped smoking 25th June 2007
    STILL Never complacent but confident
    My debt is GOING DOWN!!!!

  • Adz not angry - grumpy - seems lots of fed up people. Thats all not a judgement just an observation.

Well done remi, can I just ask your thoughts on acupunture although it wasn't successful for you. My mum is thinking of giving up and she is swaying towards this method. If I can persuade her to do something positive and take the first steps then I will be very happy.

remi, My first (and only) attempt to stop was with Niquitine patches and was doing very well for first 2 weeks, had a little blip but went straight back on them until one month was up - then disaster!! I am gearing myself up to try again on the same patches and hopefully succeed  I have only tried the patches - no books, acupuncture or anything else.

I stand to be corrected, mind.....

TNG, you stopped smoking beginning of July ... how are you coping and what method did you use?
