Update from here: Roller-coaster of stopping/starting and then badly fell off smoke-free wagon for ages.

Started patches again 2 weeks ago and had 2 ciggies since...have days when I fervently don't want to smoke and days when all I want to do is smoke and can't stop thinking about it!

Don't think I've saved any money though - smoke free days have turned into caramel shortcake days. Oops - that wasn't the plan!

Hi Ali really no need to feel - we've all been there and done that. The important thing is that you're still going for the quit!! I share your frustration as I still have days where I really want a ciggie and think about it constantly (yes even now) but most days I don't give it a second thought and when I do I just breathe through it. I swear by the silkquit metre - worth downloading cause I don't think caramel shortcake (mmmm) is as expensive as ciggies :rotfl: and also stay on my guard as I'm convinced if I become complacent Mr O'Teen will sneak up on me :eek: !!

Wow! The dentist was really pleased with me. Didn't get sent to the hygenist this told - but told they were excellent!

I didn't think smoking affected them that much.

Morning all, how is everybody's Friday going?

Any tips on getting through the weekend ciggie free, this is the time I normally slip up, as everybody I share my weekends with smoke. I feel really good about it at the moment as i have done it before, but just in case!!!
