Morning all,
Cold but bright here will get the washing on the line in a while, its been great for getting bits dry lately.
Spoke (over text) with dd yesterday, she visited an orphanage which she said was heartbreaking she gave a 16 tear old lad a t-shirt she had taken over, and he was thrilled to bits, you would have thought she had given him the world, makes you think of what our kids get eh ?
Meat pie for tea which I had made and frozen, so will have that with a jacket spud I think and some veg.
Have good days all xx
Rosyred, how are you ? xx0 -
Morning all
Cold & frosty here this morning but bright & sunny so it looks nice.
There are a lot of birds in the garden, I never feed them as we have a lot of cats around & feel it's not safe to encourage the birds.
Yesterday I moved furniture downstairs and vacuumed thoroughly, moved a bed out to be collected via freegle & finished another blanket.
Today I need to finish reorganising the room the bed came from and finish another blanket.
Tea tonight is pork chop & chips for hubby, egg & chips for me.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

morning!
cold and foggy here so far!
Day off:j
just had coffee with my sister and now about to start some jobs.
Off out to lunch later with my work mates - 2 for £10 deal at a local pub:)
Bit more painting later - am feeling really motivated at the moment. I've sold another one - that's 5 plus 2 greetings card in the last year:j not that I've earned a fortune yet but it's gathering momentum slowly:) Plus I have given several away as presents.
Freezer tea for DH as I'm having mine out.
House tidy and clean. Need to do some ironing.
Have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi everyone. Beautiful day here! Amazing how a bit of sun lifts your mood isn't it

One of the wee ones I work with came in yesterday very proudly showing her newly pierced ears. She was absolutely delighted with her new stud earrings and telling everyone who would listen that they were 18 CARAT GOLD!!!! Aw bless her, she's only 3 but I like the way that girl thinks :rotfl:
Got a muscle spasm in my back at the minute so overdosing on paracetamol and brufen
I'm in agony so I'm gonna take those hugs offered
Lots of paperwork to get through today and then off to work at night - sheesh! Why did I not marry a millionaire with one foot in the grave? :rotfl:
Hope you all have a lovely day!
Ooh - Hilstep can I ask about your solar fairy lights please? Do they work well? I have solar lights in the garden but I find them a bit dull to say the least. I don't think we have enough sun!!0 -
Judi - I live in Liverpool. I hope your DS has a lovely time. Morning everyone. Got woke up by workmen and my landlord talking in the the property upstairs/next door x0

Another sunny day, although the car still looks frosty. Not enough washing to make a load, so the machine can have a day off. Pasta bake later to use up some sausages and cheese. Think I will go for a walk in the park, fresh air will do me good!
Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Morning all,
RR glad your daughter is doing ok, I'm sure your very proud of her:)
Bit of a lazy start for me but planning on a quick shower shortly then have some ebaying to do.
My dd and DGS stayed again last night but are hoping the boiler will be fixed today so should be a little bit more peaceful tonight.
Have a docs appt tonight. My knee is dreadful and really stopping me in my tracks so going to go back and see if I can hurry my referral along. mumlady1 hugs, I know how you feel with the painkillers.
Also taking my 16 yr old who is having major problems with his ear. It's a long standing problem since he had a perforated ear drum when he was eight and I am going to insist he is referred to a specialist.
I haven't wanted to bang on too much about our DMP but that begins 1 st March. Lots of letters but I'm trying to just take it one day at a time.
Boys are having steak tonight and I will have fish.
Hope you all have a good day xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning All
Lovely bright sunny day, but chilly.
I did ponder about whether to go to town today, but no one is here to get it out of the shed for me , oh well that will save some pennies :rotfl::rotfl:
We are doing the main shop tomorrow because I am at the hospital for most of the day on Thursday, probably won't get home until 6pm so I must remember to make some snacks up and get a casserole out of the freezer. I will just phone DS to put it in the oven when we are a nearly home. I always put new potatoes and plenty of veg in my casseroles so that will be a meal in itself.
I am another with an empty wash bin so I think I will do some baking this afternoon.

Good morning.
What a week end! It is all a nightmarish blur today (thankfully) but we ended up spending yesterday morning at A&E - such a fun way to spend your day off! The Rev managed to fall off the vestry step on Sunday and disabled her left foot, couldn't put it to the ground . Turns out that nothing is broken but she suffered extensive soft tissue damage - whatever that means - so we came home laden with strong painkillers and orders for her to rest the foot for 2 weeks. As if!
Fast day today so no cooking.:j
nmlc: How I agree with you. Making a friend of your butcher is the very best way of getting value for money. My butcher has always been busy but since the 'hrsmt scandal' he says that it has been manic.
nlj: good luck with the tricky phone call.
Islandmaid: Just to say that if you want to gaze into the delectable Henry's eyes again, you'd better get down to the college smartishlike.
He is finishing there soon, working for a year in 'I'm loving it', and saving up for a trip Down Under.
redruby: Your DD will never be quite the same after her experiences. My time spent in India changed the way I think about things for ever. The things we take for granted and think are necessities are unimaginable luxuries in parts of the world. I couldn't go into a SM for ages after I got back, the sight of piled up trolleys made me feel physically ill.
Off now to cast an eye at the ironing mountain, wave a duster at my bedroom, consider getting the vacuum out and make a cuppa.
Enjoy the sun if you have it in your neck of the woods.

Good morning (only just made it as its 11:45)
Lovely bright sunny day here too. I'd love to get out and do a bit of gardening, it needs tidying and trimming. Unfortunately I can't do much out there these days, bl**dy MS.
However, I can do some crafty jobs I've been meaning to do for ages. I need to make some some little tablecloth type thingys to go on DD bedside drawers. DH has painted the drawers white to freshen them up, only one set done so far but I'm really pleased with them.
Going out for a curry tonight, hooray no clearing up but a large bill to pay.
Hope you're enjoying this dry weather for a change. That's it folks, take care.0
