I'm going in for £90 I have managed to stick to February's budget of £80 through some very sticky run ins.

I will be starting a new job this month and I'm determined to not fall into the habit of buying junk food for lunch every day like I did at my last job - hence the minimal increase.
  • Hi, i spent another £2.61 today. YS bread, YS spinach, YS discovery dips, YS croutons and YS posh tomatoes (the last three items are all for a meal for saturday night) my boyfriend tried to impress me with his posh tomatoes the other day. Lord knows why!! maybe he thinks i cant afford posh food, but i wont be telling him i got mine heavily reduced. Not a competition but mine are 3coloured plum and cherry tomatoes, at probably a fraction of the cost of his ones :D:D
  • I had a successful February and made it £5 under budget so I'm dead chuffed! Can you put me down for £375 this month?

We're going to head up to Costco this weekend and stock up on some stuff - butcher meat being one of them. I'm hoping if I get enough in and stashed in the freezer I'll save even more as I won't be making multiple sm trips!

Thanks Zippy for the new thread!

Please can you put me down for £380 please lovely ladies who run the thread :)

This is to run from today until the 21st March. I have been to aldeee and mr s today as I won't have any time over the weekend. We are doing sl1mm1ng world so DH can lose some weight and it is costing us a lot so I am being a bit flippant reducing my target by £20:eek: we have been doing SW for 2 weeks but haven't budgeted this as I am moving my GC budget back in line with my paydays for easier budgeting.

I made the SW Spanish rice with chicken and chorizo recipe from the recipe index on Tuesday and it was gorgeous. It is likely to remain on meal plans for sometime:D

I am well stocked up on dog food, loo roll, laundry stuff, dw stuff, nappies and meat. I just need to stop buying so much at each shop that ends up filling the freezer and cupboards.

I will have to do another fruit shop sometime during next week too:eek:
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

Morning all, spent more than intended last night, was feeling impulsive DH bought home reduced brie last night so I picked up a YS french stick then ended up buying 2 for £5 bacon! Also bought some cheesestrings to see if my DS will eat them. Spend of £9.67 then the impulsive spend of £5.44.
