:beer:I'm back. We are now having to run two houses (Glasgow and Birmingham) so bills are a real problem. Can I put down for £150 for March please. I won't start until 1st March, but I'm meal planning already.

  • Ready for the next challenge, got to the thread before got busy too! Missed reading a lot of Feb's thread as it moves so fast and I've not been online much! I'm already down for the right target (£290) - thanks :)

I technically came in under target in February but actually had to use money from another pot to do so as I ended up spending grocery money on something else! Bad, bad girl :(

Fingers crossed this will be a good month, got a separate budget for trips with DS this month and birthday / Mother's day presents almost done - just need to get some flowers. Good luck everyone :)

    MARCH?! Oh my!

I'm going to go for £35 a week for me and DH, to include all toiletries, food etc. And £40 for the month for the two dogs, including food, treats and shampoo etc which I need to buy this month.

Paid on 28th Feb, then again 29th March so pretty much 4 weeks + one day, total for the month is £180

    zepsgal £180

Really hoping to do well this month, need to use up lots of stuff before buying more in!

Can't think of anything smart to put here...
  • Thanks Zippy, Bluegreen and coxy for your hard work.
I won`t start until 1st march, but want to change my budget to

    £350
    for march.
A reduction of £50, I know this is a bit of a jump, but i`m going to give it a go. The £50 saved will go into my holiday spending pot, so hoping this encourage me to leave it alone.

My budget for March (starting next week) is: £40.

My annual budget is £960, and for Jan & Feb I spent £118.20.

I was using up stocks last month and have a few bits and bobs left over still. Also stealing ideas from the £7 menu thread.

This is only short term, longer term i'll be spending more.
Debt free (finally) and saving a deposit for my first home.
  • Can I go back to €250 please? I'm adding cat litter spends to my usual list though which means that my GC covers everything bar cat food (giant sacks) and booze now.
