    Congrats on the baby Suze!
My bro and SIL just had a baby last weekend too and I don't think they've even left the house yet so you're doing SOOO well to even be thinking of shopping again nevermind meal planning - wow!

Can I be put down for £160 yet again please, I only just squeezed in under budget in Feb and its a five week month this time around so no cutting to be done yet....

£24.59 spent on weekly shop today which I was pleased with.

Think I need to join in this for the next month or so. Need to try and do it in a Slimming World way too though. Going to try for a budget of £160 not including baby milk, nappies or wipes. We are going away on Monday for 3 days so that should save us a bit of money, when we get back think I'm going to go through the freezer and cupboards and sort out some nice meals.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

£27 spent today - much more than I had anticipated but it included £8.25 on 2 packs of gammon and some frozen veggies to make a lunch for my parents, us two, brother (and my parent's springer). As well as those I bought:

    1 x pink and whites
2 x m&m sharer packs (treat for date night)
    2pinter of milk
    2 x custard
    2 x beans
    1 x sweetcorn
    1x pasta sauce
    1 x fusili pasta
1 x £6 dinner deal (main, side and desert for four) [have split the main in to 2 and frozen for another day]
    1 x cucumber
    2 x vit c 1-a-day
    2 x cod liver oil 1-a-day

All we should need now is the Makro shop - we've decided to wait until next week for this as then the laundry detergent we get will be on offer and bread, ham and cheese later in the month along with the obvious milk top ups!

I will also need to get mince tomorrow just to tide us over until we get to Makro but will just get a small pack.

Need Belvitas for bf too - anyone know of anywhere the yogurt/filled ones are on offer at the moment?

Congratulations Suzexxxx - can't believe you are back on GC already without a break!

Main shop for us today at Ald1 was £36.80. Am so used to cutting back we found it hard to get to £40 in order to use our voucher but opted for bacon for when we have guests in 2 weeks and then extra storecupboard basics and extra big pack of loo roll. When we put it in the back of the car we were amazed by how much we'd got for that amount - we'd have spent double that on so much food in the past.

Also spent £4.97 in Mr S on treats of sea bass and clotted cream for our "date night" in tonight. Instead of going out for dinner, we now cook a course each of food we haven't made before. It's great fun and gets us using our (many!) cookbooks and costs probably 1/3 of what a meal in the pub would.

Finally, I wanted to share that I have made my own bread today for the first time ever!!!! Feel like I should get a gold OS star or something! Was surprised how easy it was and we had lovely hot rolls with our dinner. Will definitely be making more.

Have mealplanned until a week on Thursday now, so feeling quietly confident about this month, but we will see.

    Have a great weekend x

    Spent £1.40 today.
Made the chicken quiche in a sandwich baking tin to avoid a - soggy bottom - but the chicken was watery! :(
Anyway it tasted okay. When Mr F came home with the chicken - I didn't fancy it - we had some pate that was naff - the chicken was what he got free of charge instead of more pate. I have gone right off pate after the manky lot we had - really had lots of grisly bits in it.
For dinner we had the quiche with HM wedges and salad - celery, grated carrot, spring onions, red onion and a yellow pepper.
