1st of march and so far no spends!
    :)
  • Thank you for the lovely warm welcome! I need to get my spending under control due to bills, bills, bills so Im hoping to get group support to keep me on track. I have managed it before so I know I can do it. Todays spend is £41.78p on my organic veg box and organic meat box and 1 doz free range eggs. This was delivered so I guess I saved on petrol (and time). I should only need to buy milk for the rest of the week foodwise. I have strong bread flour in the cupboard so am going to try my hand at bread (or something vaguely edible from that family). I made a vat of soup from leftover veggies which will help fill us up if I run out. Im going to do a menu planner tomorrow and leave my cash card at home when I go out - cant spend it if I havent got it on me! I have found that really helps loads - I too am an impulse shopper - I buy a 'bargain' wether I need it or not!
So £358.22 of my budget left & 30 days left to go :rotfl:

Another £6 spend today - £2.60 on a treat for bf to say sorry for being a right twit last night and £3.40 on dog treats; I bought 4 smaller packs and got him a treat of some doggie pick'n'mix haha

tomorrow me and bf are going to eat at my parents with my mum for lunch so I will go to their local little ASDA and pick up some gammon, veggies and dessert. Will also get some meat as we have decided not to go to Makro until next weekend (as thats when the laundry powder we buy will be on offer) so I will need a pack of mince, one of bacon and one other - maybe gammon for the freezer :)

Will also buy peppers (split a larger pack with mum), another cucumber, perhaps some apples (again will split a larger pack as I never eat that many). we need pasta (cheapest tubes or twirls going), a milk. Other than that can't think of anything that I need to get away from Makro so that's good! Might splash out on some 'baked to perfection' or similar fish to have with lunches for work - its been on offer is Mr Ms but I didn't get time to run in for some so may just treat myself haha

    Spent £6.15 today.
No dinner photo - I just had easy meal - HM wedges, poached egg and peri peri baked beans. Tired out after tramping round the shops today. My tooth is hurting tonight.

Trouble is i work in a supermarket... just come home with another bottle of moisturiser reduced from £1.15 to 57p :rotfl:I am saving money thats the trouble, and im coming out with 3 or 4 times more shopping, toiletires and groceries than before i looked for reduced things. So i think my plan should be to cut my budget from£15 per week to £10

That would be my ideal job and nightmare job rolled into one. I can't really go looking for YS stuff at supermarket anymore as most of the time i have to do it online. C*-*p's yellow stickers generally aren't that big a reduction, but sometimes you can get stuff you would have otherwise bought at full price. Still it doesn't stop me going in for a gander.

Mr KB sounds lovely by the way, my OH never wants what's on the meal plan. Lucky he's such a sweetheart in other ways to make up for it! :rotfl:

Same here I used to get "are we having xxx again" when I last Fed him that meal three/four weeks ago .

Done a big restock shop. Stocked up on non perishables for the month to utilise my Mirror voucher for Aldi. Actually got two and will do the same again next Thurs to get enough meat and freezer stuff for the month. Hopefully, we will only need very small top ups after that. Total spend was £39.41 after vouchers and coupons and I seemed to have loads which was nice.

I have to say one of the best things about meal planning, stock taking and sticking to a list is that you are in and out of the SM in no time at all:j:j

    Have a good weekend everyone
