halight...... I was really upset to hear of Richard Briers passing. He brought so much laughter to so many and he played a really good villain as I recall in Midsommer Murders and New Tricks. He truly was a National Treasure :(

I really enjoyed his work - he was a murderer in Morse I think. I also loved Ever Decreasing Circles as much as the Good Life. Very sad.:(

    Hello all,

Hugs to anyone in need for whatever reason.

We had the Grandchildren's birthday party yesterday....four of my five grandchildren have birthdays in February so they all gather here whenever granddaughters who live in London have half-term. bedlam all afternoon and into the night, poor Mossy couldn't keep up with them all and was distracted!

Lovely day here, just remembered that I put clothes on line, will recover some I need soon as it would be just my luck for rain to hit at some stage during the night.

Really need to get my hair cut....I look like a scarecrow, so will get it done on Wednesday....DD2 will have my car but DD4 will take me home...if I have no car I can't do anything for anyone, can I??

Dinner to-day was very nice roast chicken which we had to roast in countertop oven as couldn't get main oven to heat....have never used automatic function on it so maybe somebody cooking yesterday messed settings up....don't really like the oven but can in no way find the cash to replace it so may be depending on small one for a while.

Must put out bin as I have had reminder from collection agency...find that very handy as only put it out about once every 6 weeks. Will take Mossy out for his nightly stroll and take in clothes at same time.

Stay safe and warm everybody and sleep well

    Marie
