Good morning everyone

It's another lovely day here so the towels, bath mats and shower curtain are all in the washing machine. I love the smell and feel of line dried towels.
DH is back at work after our half term and I will be back in work tomorrow. Am going to see how I feel and may take a days holiday or lieu time at the end of the week if I get too tired.
The decluttering continues but do feel like we have made an impact on this room ... the one planned for the book nook. I have told DH that I want decluttering completed by the Summer. This sounds like a long time but is probably a realistic target, I think the original 10,000 books is down to about 9,000 now and I eventually want it down to less than 1000. Then there is all the other stuff. I did try to persuade DH to part with his childhood encyclopaedias at the weekend but they ended up moving to the loft instead. Oh well, we can't win them all.
Off to sort out a filing cabinet full of Lego now ....
Well wishes for all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep warm and safe and have a super day

Well,
Iv jsut sent off for a Job!
Its only an temp job for a few week's. But better than nothing while i wait to go into hospital.
I don't think I will get it but trying is a start.
I really could do with finding something. Even a small part time job would help out at the moment. And while I don't feel too bad I might as well try.
Wish me luck:D:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
good luck Halight!
Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Good morning every one and an early one for me as I have to pick my pal up at 5.00 and run her to Heathrow. Her DD lives in the U.S. and was rushed into hospital with pneumonia on Friday afternoon and has since had two lots of fluid drained from her lungs. She has two small children and her OH has to work so Mum is doing what all Mums do in that situation flying over to stand in for her.I said I would help by taking her to the airport this morning, so fingers crossed the M25 is behaving itself this morning .Then I shall return to Kent whare I am picking up three of my grandsons and my DD and almost repeating the journey again as we have promised them a trip to Windsor Castle. My pal Pat is so worried about her DD and I know she would do the same if the tables were turned. So by tonight I may be a little cream-crackered
:)
Yesterday we took the boys to Westgate -on-sea and it was lovely on the beach The boys and DD went crabbing and I had a stroll along the front (nice and flat ):) then a hot drink out of the wind and read the free sunday papers that are provided in the cafe.very pleasant.Lovely lamb dinner when we got home that my son-in-law had cooked and then I came home for an early night as I knew it was going to be and early start this morning .I am just going to have a shower and some breakfast then pick my friend up and tooddle off round the motorways.Have a good day everyone what ever you are doing
Cheers JackieO xxx
I live at westgate, glad you like us!Carolbee0 -
Morning all,
Bright and breezy here, I have the last of the towels in the wm, so will get them on the line today.
Dinner tonight will be toad out of the hole
with loads of veg and nice gravy. Need to nip to the doc today and go and see my dad, I also need to do an online shop.
House wants a quick going over, and I will get the dog out for her walk later on.
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning All
I am another who is taking advantage of the weather and have stripped all of the beds (well DS did) and it is all on the line, I did most of the clothes yesterday and the last few bits from the wash bin are in the machine now, hopefully it will come in dry or nearly dry.
Glucose levels have actually started to drop, which is a good sign. The bonus is that I have started to lose weight :j the Dr did tell me that would happen on these tablets.......... every cloud and all that:D
DH is working all day instead of his usual shifts, because of half term. I love him to bits, but it is nice not to have him under foot.
DH and DS cleaned the car yesterday and topped up the antifreeze, oil, water and checked the tyres. We will top up with diesel on the way to London on Thursday, for my orthopaedic appointment.
halight positive vibes on the job front x
Oh well sounds like the machine has finished spinning so I had better go and put it on the line.

Morning all,
A beautiful morning here as well. Will pop some bedding out on the line for the first time this year.:j
Have a market research booked in for Thursday. It's my birthday but I shall celebrate Friday instead.
I've already listed 9 items on eBay this morning, its so much easier with the iPad.
My DD is hoping her boiler is fixed today otherwise she will be staying tonight again with DGS. She is single again, I suspect she still has strong feelings for baby's dad but they just can't seem to get on:(
It's half term for my youngest boy this week. He has been out all weekend and I suspect not had a lot of sleep so he is currently sleeping!
Middle son is at his girlfriends so will return home later. He is waiting to start work on 23 rd March
Need to write an important letter today as well and fit in some housework and cooking.
Have a lovely day all, take care J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Halight, fingers crossed!
JackieO- healing vibes to your friend's daughter!
Morning all!
Another sunny day, if a bit chilly. Washing all up to date, ironing is another matter, but will do some later. Have a doctors appointment this afternoon, nothing else planned as yet. Had a very emotional phone call from one of OHs friends yesterday, then last night one of me and my brothers oldest friends phoned me out of the blue, they were each others best men and we have all been friends for nearly 30 years. He's a retired policeman, and renowned for his plain talking, and had some interesting observations to make to me from a different viewpoint, shall we say, rather than just being sorry for our loss. Made me think a bit, and a reminder that life will go on!
Anyway, still not dressed as I have spent hours reading this morning, have a good day all!RIP Iain

Very quick post, dins ios almost ready (Mr LW wfh today)
JackieO I hope friend's DD will be OK.
Halight very best of luck with the job.
I am clearly playing way too much Skyrim - been in the kitchen this morning, making lasagne (for dins), apple crumble and sultana & spice buns, and caught myself singing "Ragnar The Red" which is a bard song from Skyrim. Can't get it out of my head!!

afternoon all,
Jackie your amazing and lovely friend!
havent posted lately as had lot on and needed to reflect on things, but life is back on track now thank goodness!!!
spent morning cursing lap top as the work id done for a course im on with for work is saved in a programme ive no idea how to access, then my phone wouldnt work so couldnt rant at hubbby about it, but hes home in a bit so will sort for me then so yipee!
but in the meantime i was productive and meal planned for week as in and out all week between shifts etc,
and i saw on pinintrest this lady who pre planned all her meals ie chopped in bulk and froze so i thought hmmm, so i dug out those bags you can roast in, and ive popped chicken etc and seasoning in bags so plan is simply lift out of freezer in am as i sort breakfast then pop in sloww cooker as i walk out of door then all have decent meals with little effort on the busy days.
have to reevalate how i purchase meat as god knows what they have been eating as i never buy pre prepared meals but was the beef pieces and mince decent from lidl etc over years, shudder at thought!
quorn will feature more than it has and ill stock up in farm shops etc i think as dont trust supermarkets ever again:A :j0
