Move from Sky to Talk Talk?

Sky and Talk Talk's LLU service will practically be the same. You won't get a massive increase in speed moving from one LLU operator to the other.
BT's service is over subscribed. So is Sky's in some places. All non-LLU operators will use BT Wholesale Broadband (re-sold BT Broadband) and will be subject to throttling and limits by BT, that's the only reason LLU providers can provide better speeds than BT/BT Wholesale.
However, as these LLU operators gain more and more customers they'll be subject to the same over-subscription (contention ratio) issues. At this moment in time Sky is having major issues in various places in the UK with low speeds caused by signing up too many customers than capacity can comfortably handle.
By other providers I meant those that are not LLU operators so BT Wholesale Broadband. Wammer was asking if they would be better than ADSL, which I presumed to mean BT Wholesale providers. I know Sky and TalkTalk are the same, my neighbour is with Sky and he was getting a much better service than I did with PlusNet who are BT Wholesale so I did some checking and found that TalkTalk were LLU in my exchange as well. I didn't go with Sky because they don't allow businesses to use their network, or so I was told.
I read the recent stories about the problems Sky are having and I agree that as people move over to the LLU operators then they will start to have problems. I'm on a business package with TT and they assured me that it gets preference over home users. Time will tell!

You pay extra for Business broadband, hence why you should get a lower contention ratio and better speeds.0
