I'm new to T-mobile I don't know what boosters are or where to find what I've got, I imagine they're like O2 bolt-ons but I only ever used 1 of those

I rang MPD this morning and told them that what I bought wasn't matching what was on the T-Mobile account. He said that what I ordered is what I'll be getting because I've got boosters included.
I agree with Grumbler I would have thought a booster would have shown up against the account ???

Did they actualy check what had been processed on the order or just what you had ordered ?
I would be tempted to phone T-Mobile to check it includes booster against your contract rather than take the verbal word from MPD

I'm new to Tmobile as well, I found my boosters listed underneath my main plan details. So log on, go to My Plan and under the listing of your main plan are any booster add ons.

If it's any consulation, I'm confused as to what I've got with my Sim only plan...I got it direct from TMob and it offered 250mb free basic internet included which I assumed did not include data for apps, maps etc so added a £2.50 booster for 250mb data. When looking on my plan I can only see one mention of data (the booster I paid for) but no mention of the 'free basic internet' . Confused, yes slightly. :D

However, none of my data usage (downloads or browsing) shows up in my unbilled data so I have no idea if or what I've used.

Been talking to MPD all day, they finally replied to my contact messages via their site that I sent on Friday and Saturday.

They told me that Tmobile have changed their fair usage policy and it's not 1gb, and if we go over it we dont get charged it slows down and that I need to ring them to change my tariff because I registered with Tmob myself they can't do it.

So I call Tmob (which I hate doing because I get a different person everytime and I have to re-explain everything) and this fella tells me that if I want to change my tariff to get actual unlimited internet those deals start at £36. And also their fair usage policy is 250mb and we do get charged for going over and that I could claim compensation for being sold the wrong things.

I've had enough now, I've just sent a reply to MPD saying I'm sick of going back and forth between the two companies and want it sorted out now. If it doesn't get sorted I don't want the phone or the contract and I had better not get billed because I'm not getting what I bought into

As I said earlier the buck stops with the third party ...they have to do it .... not you or T-Mobile

I know, I'll see what they say to the message and if it's not sorted I'm sending the phone back, I took insurance out on the phone too so hopefully it wouldn't cost to cancel that either.

I've seen the same deal on other networks with more data, one even on Orange which I think is the same as t-mobile now, so I don't see why it can't be sorted

I'm being told they can't do anything because I registered with T-mobile myself and not via them, and if I want to cancel they can do that for me today.

They've generously offered to get my pac code for me but doesn't help that I won't have a sim card to put it on! Urgh this company!

How come? It's they who sold you the contract and registered you with T-mobile. The most you would have been able to do is to activate the sim.
and if I want to cancel they can do that for me today.
I would do this without hesitation. Make sure that there are no any charges except for the airtime that you have used actually.

I'm sending it back, they said they'll send me another one and I register with them directly ill get the full 1gb data which only slows down if i go over

when i rang tmobile to give them my pac code the lady registered me there and then so apparently mpd can't do anything to my account because they have no control

im not going to bother getting a payg sim, too much hassle porting my number over when i probably wont need it, ill just miss getting emails

Nonsense. You can register only what you've been sold.

What does a mobile number has to do with emails?
