In most cases if they don't ask you it's because they assume you haven't had a policy cancelled. You'd need to call them and advise them of that.

So I just got off the phone with them. Easiest phone call ever, they simply wanted the outstanding payment and that was it. No issues at all. I guess they send such a strongly worded letter to get your attention...
Anyway, address has been amended so this shouldn't happen again.
