im still getting used to the layout of this site, so apologies if this is blindingly obvious and i've missed it, but....


on the other boards and forums i am a member of, there is a facility in your user options where you can choose to be alerted by email message or by pop up that you have new PMs

is there already/if not can we please have something like this here? as im forever forgetting to check, and then missing them when they do appear.

Click on the id.. For instance, I've just clicked on Pavlovs_dog and sent you an im.

no, i think you misunderstoood...

i know how to send a PM, i just want to know if there is any dort of alerrt function to highlight the fact that you have new PMs

no, aaccording to thing there are pop ups as well. have just enabled both of them anyway

if you have the facility enabled you can get a pop-up to alert you to new pm's!!!!!
