Unfortunately it is still your responsibility to give the seller an opportunity to effect a repair.
In your case, that may well be sticking the thing on a trailer/transporter... not the seller's problem.0 -

My understanding from what's been posted is that the OP was given the go ahead to get the repair done by the seller.0 -
If the car is still unfit to drive then yes it is the sellers problem to have the car transported to them for them to inspect it.
It is far easier and less costly for the garage to arrange this than the buyer.
I suggest you contact CAB and they will advise you and direct you to letters on their website that you can use and edit, please mention the telephone call and date of it in the letter.0 -
