Booking flights for baby - not born yet!

Its a lot to expect a 2/3/4 yr old to stay sat in the same seat for 4+ hours without wanting to move around, walk up and down aisle etc
And people can also use ear-plugs if they're that bothered by the sound of a baby crying.
If it's a lot to expect then don't take them. It's not fair on anyone then.
Love your last sentence, typical selfish parent, I'm alright so deal with it.0 -

Like I say you also have the option not to travel:D and I am never all right with a baby/child crying, mine or anyone elses as it normally means something is not right. But what I would do is get up and go to that parent SMILE and ask if they were ok, could I help. Just a thought...0 -
I'm with Delree on this one. Totally inappropriate to take a newborn child on an aeroplane.0

Can you let us know which flight you choose so we can make sure we're not on it. I hate it when selfish parents take screaming babies onto planes so we can all enjoy for two hours what you put up with 24/7. Thanks.
Not all parents who fly with babies and children are stupid chavs who let their children scream, shout and run around you know.
Some of us are actually able to be calm comforting parents. Not once have my children disturbed neighbours on a flight, but I've had plenty of ignorant people like you in the seats infront, behind and beside rolling their eyes and pullling stupid faces because we have had the audacity to be seated near them.
Really, get over yourself.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Well said! And a lot more succinct than what I was trying to say:T Some people will always have a problem with babies/children travelling no matter how well behaved they are and I have learnt that their prejudices do not need to become my problems.0 -

LOL love it. Get over yourselves.
You decided to have kids (I assume) so deal with the consequences. It's not fair to drag those poor blighters onto a flight just so you can have some time in the sun.
That aside I don't want to tar everyone with same brush, you obviously parent well so I have admiration for you. I couldn't do it.0 -
BA won't allow you to book an unborn baby. they advised us to ring once baby is born to add to existing booking.
(I'd much rather travel with a baby than a whining 6/7 year old, or a smoker with smelly clothes, or indeed a 50something who reclines their seat as far back as soon as they can.... inconsiderate travellers can be any age )0 -

Seat recliners are the worst, probably the only good thing about Ryanair is that their seats don't allow it.0 -

Im sorry for having kids. So we've got to stay at home for 18 years have we?
Perhaps you should tell everyone on the forum whenever you fly so they can avoid flying with idiots like you.0
