About to order some more - the small one is really small - perhaps a bit smaller than I expected, very cute tho.xx0 -

Mine arrived yesterday and, apart from the smell, I am delighted with them! They are currently hung in the garage where, hopefully, the smell will fade. That's where I have hung previous smelly jute bags to air!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I too wondered about the smell it's a very strong chemically smell...smells like fumes.
Also, I was recently given a pair of Seasalt jeans the label says "designed in UK and manufactured in China" So did a bit of searching

Is it just me that assumed that their products are locally made and manufactured?0 -
My bags arrived yesterday and they are lovely, very pleased with them :j
As others have mentioned, they do have quite a strong smell, although it seems a bit less noticeable this morning so hopefully it will gradually fade.0 -
I have been using one of their bags since Christmas and there is no smell - it went within a couple of days or so. Also, have a couple stored in the bag they were delivered in, so I just pulled them out to check and again, no smell.“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0

i just emailed seasalt regarding the smell they said it was harmless and caused by the paint used and all jute bags should be aired for a few days and the smell should subside0
