I am five foot 2 inches tall and occasionally shorten straps etc - I just get one of my daughter's hair bobbles, pinch out the length of strap I need shortened, and put the bobble around it. temporarily shortened so she can take the bobble off when she uses it = she's five foot eight!

I for one prefer a shopping bag with a longer handle, as I find it much easier carrying it over my shoulder, leaving my hands free. Just as well, really, as I am only 5' 1" and the bag really would be sweeping the floor as I went along!! Can't wait for mine getting delivered as the ones I am currently using are just so shabby!!

Thanks for this OP have just ordered 2 the daffodil one and the autumn leaves as I love the colour. These will be great for me as here in Wales you have to pay for your carrier bags and the Daffodil one will be lovely around St David's day xxxxx:):)
