Hi,
I think it depends on the way the cashback site works, and how the retailer works.
There seems to be a lot of problems reported with Quidco. The high cashback offer isn't much good if they don't payout.
For me it's ecashback.co.uk. I've purchased Insurance via them and the cashback showed the next day. I've been a member for nearly 4 years. I haven't had many untracked transactions and have always been paid.

HI all
Just wondering if people have their cashback paid into their paypal account or their bank account...as looking at my paypal account I have lost money through it.0 -
It's better to get paid directly by BACS into your bank account. What are the problems people are having with quidco?poppy100

So it's quite safe giving Quidco your acc. no. and sort code then?
I've got £40 validated on my first purchase through them and I'm waiting for it to go to received status. At that stage I'll give them my bank details and they can pay me.0 -
I do not know if anybody has already covered this but lets say that I purchased insurance via the cashback sites and I was paid say £120 for doing my Buildings insurance through them and I then cancelled in say 3 months, "would the cashback I have earnt be clawed back from me"?
Thanks0 -
Not if it has been paid out to you.0

In my latest e-mail from MSE, Quidco are heavily promoted, I have tried everything possible to obtain cashback from them since January-they ignore all my e-mails, I have followed every suggestion made my other posters to no avail.
As MSE feels that they are a good company, will they take up my case or am I to stay feeling totally ripped off?
I have to say pretty much every item I use Quidco for I have to submit a manual claim, the tracking is really bad. Rpoints never gave me this trouble, I am trying TopCashBack now though.Money can't buy friends, but it can get you a better class of enemy - Spike Milligan.0 -
seeing as thats what most people spend most of their money on
also what about petrol, what do people find is the best way to get freebies for that (i arlready use cheap.petrol or whatever its called)0 -
Theres a site called Quidco.com (or .co.uk) and it gives you a rebate of what you spend back. It works by giving you the money that the company would normally spend on advertising. Quidco takes a profit of what you earn, but its not that much if you plan on using it.
You can use it for consumer goods like Tesco , but not for petrol sorry
E.g i went to the Hilton for two days and quidco saved me 10 pound! defintely worth a look!0 -
I get my supermarket shopping delivered and go through mysupermarket which gives you ipoints and you also still get your Nectar/tesco clubcard points/etc. It also compares your shopping so you can see where to get it the cheapest.:j Survey sites are boring but points add up if you persist with it - Great way to save up for xmas! Quidco is brill, watching the money pile up. Every penny counts !! :T0
