City rover...don't all laugh at once

oxygen to fuel mix is incorrect try looking at mas air flow meter or oxygen sensor.

try a good seeing-to with WD-40?

Sounds suspiciously like rain water dripping into the electrics?

Many cars develop weird faults due to things like fuse boxes, ECU's, even ignition systems getting wetter than intended.

However,I would find the above surprising, considering the car was designed to function correctly in an Indian monsoon?

Maybe Rover decided to 'improve' the original design to suit us Brits, and lost the plot in the process?

There's nowt wrong with the Indica as such.....just our approach to the car.
