I've noticed the same with the value cat litter over the years, that it disappears and reappears and always thought it was due to low stock. I do hate that they don't have a comparable alternative available, the next 'best' one being the very heavy 8L clumping one which is hit and miss with the feline member of the family. Then Mr S does an 8L clay one but I found that Lidl does a 10L one too so they get my custom now.

I find a lot of the cheaper items disappear on a regular basis in the stores.

i have also noticed on tesco.com, when you press all offers under the special offers tab , it does not show up all offers. For example under dog food in all offers it says 20 things are on offer but it only shows you 5 items. You have to click groceries ,then pets, then dog food ,and then tick special offers to get the 20 offers listed.

I'm allowed to order it with mine, maybe it is area specific? Maybe the cat litter is as well?

Sometimes its there to be ordered online, sometimes it isn't.

Always the cheapy things you can't get for some reason.

They are definitely in (the same) store and its a huuuge extra store.

Mind you the pickers are idiots, I've had curling serum instead of straightening spray, wedges instead of chips (they carry over 20 varieties of chips... Surely they had at least one?!) Tampax instead of sanitary towels (when again there are many types of WHAT I ASKED FOR in store) bayonet light bulb subbed with a screw fitting, list is endless.

I've had to start writing notes on the subs page because the things I've had are so off the wall

Sorry for double posting, I thought somebody might be able to help me here...

I've got lots of Tesco coupons (eg 75p off finest pizza) and I want to spend them online, as it says on the back I can do. However, I can't for the life of me find a code. If I open up the coupons online it says the code will be underneath the coupon on the screen. However....there is no code under the coupon. Do they do some vouchers that you can't redeem online? Even though it gives guidance on the back "for online purchases"? I'm confused
Thank you to all posters :A

Some vouchers are in store only. The stuff on the back is on the back of all the vouchers, and are not specific to that voucher

  • I'm another one annoyed by the disappearance of the value cat litter. The Tesco own brand clumping stuff peversely doesn't seem as good and the anti odour one smells more than the value one ever did. 'm another one that doesn't drive so cat litter is one of the few items I actually would struggle to pick up from store!
Everyone has a dark side... apparently mine is called Harold?!?

Having the same problem with the cat litter too, had to get a smaller one at nearly double the price!
  • I agree with the clumping cat litter it is dreadful and my cat hates it. The value was one was brill.

Everyone should tweet Tesco on their twitter to ask where it has gone, they always reply.
  • i used to use tesco for everything when DP worked there but he left in september so we tried to avoid it and pop in for odds and odds. but went to last night to do the catch up shop of EV stuff we've run out of and wash shocked at how much ti is and what is missing!

We have taken to buying gorceries in bulk from a local (but national) trade seller (not sue of rules but wont say who & no its not bookers or makro). the freezer & cupboard are full but we eat the same day in and day out.
