    If you want to leave Sky for another provider, then you may not be able to go direct to another LLU provider. You may instead have to do a return to donor via BT for your line rental. This is free, but requires a 12m line rental contract. LLU to LLU transfers are problematic and rarely possible. No new cabling required-the line used is the same.
    You have to pay line rental on all broadband services (including FTTC) except those supplied by VM cable.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
