Disgusted - MSE Forum Link - "Free Prizes for Surveys"

A couple of days ago I answered a survey that popped up on this site in exchange for a free gift.

I chose a tooth whitening treatment, a free months trial. OK, so I am going to be billed £2.75 package and pot, fair enough.

Today I receive a long e.mail with the "small print", the actual charge will be $9.41, AND If I do nothing I will be "conveniently" billed $94.42 PER MONTH for continuing monthly treatments plus "up to $10.91 per month for postage!

eeekkk !!


I have, hopefully followed the cancellation instructions given to avail all further charges but I feel upset that this has happened here of all places.

To be honest if something like that popped up via MSe on my PC , my first thought would be that I had picked up Malware somewhere
