bimicky - where LB had a requirement for a certain number of hours worked per week, LF has a requirement for a certain number of jobs done every month.

Once you know you've passed you'll have access to all this information and you'll be able to judge whether your being abroad fits into their requirement or whether you'll have to approach them to see if they'll pause the work for you.

I just received an e-mail saying I had failed part 3 of the exam for project Y**** but "You are free to continue working on other projects as they become available to you".

No idea what that means really. I hadn't wanted to apply for a specific project in the first place, just standard work.

If other work shows up in the hub, will I have to sit more exams to qualify or is there some work that doesn't require exams? Is everyone who works for LF working under a project name?

It's not like I have any contract or anything so how will 'other projects' become available to me?

Must say I'm gutted after all the hours I have put into this so far.

I think the way the new 3 part exam works is that the 3rd part is to qualify for certain types of task. I think that is why people who have done the new 3 part exam are getting more work than the people like me who did the 2 part exam as we haven't done that qualification test. I'd guess that means that you will just get less work and won't get work of the type for which the 3rd part of the exam was the qualification, if that makes sense. That is the main project name under which we are all working I think.

Oh I see - thanks Caitchbee. So I have possibly been provisionally accepted by LF but not for the type of task in the Y**** 3rd exam but maybe others...

I haven't had any contract though or details of pay etc. so presumably at some point I will see a part 3 exam for another type of task and will be given a contract if I pass that exam?

I don't know why LF and LB have to be so confusing in everything they do - feels like every step of the way is some sort of initiative test.

It's just a guess Minnie, but seems to make sense given the vastly differing amounts of work people are getting. I suspect you would be eligible to do lots of tasks without doing any further exams and will probably get a similar amount of work to people who did the 2 part exam. You could well get the contract etc soon. Might be worth emailing them to get it clarified though?

I did the 3 part exam and have been getting a lot of work that is very similar to the 3rd part of the exam so what Caitchbee is saying could be correct. Did anyone who did that extra exam last week hear anything? I havn't, but I have just had some of that sort of task appear. Just wondering because I never seem to receive emails from leapforce and I keep checking my junk everyday.
