  • It definitely says 3 parts in the email, 1 part theory and 2 different practical tests.

Also during my original application I had to complete a 15 question test which was basically identical to the 144 part 2 practical test for LB which I passed.

Hi my exam also says it is 3 parts but I have never worked for LB. My exam is due to start today.

Ok I guess its nothing to do with LB then.

I am yet to be paid from LF but I am with Nationwide and was never charged when paid by LB.

As for the exam, I know there has been a huge overhaul of the guidelines in the last week, with a lot of information about the tasks the exam was based on removed. I am guessing, but could be wrong, this means the exam will also have changed, which could explain why there are now 3 parts.

Oh ok, well I just wanted to check I hadnt applied for the wrong thing. I was happy doing the work for LB and just wanted to do the same role which it seems like it is.

It might be worth looking at HSBC or Barclays. I think one of them doesn't charge but I don't remember which :j

I heard that Barclays didn't so I'll look into that as I have an account there.

I've got a Nationwide account too so will check them out.

    Thanks both :)

How much can you earn with this site? Potential hourly rate on average?

I received an email on 27th Feb and there's also a notice on the LF site.

Can anyone help me regarding the exam?! My start date was yesterday apparently, but while I can download the Guidelines OK, when I log in to try to take the exam there is nothing there. Is this normal, i.e. does the exam not appear until a few days into the process? Or maybe it has been cancelled/delayed, and they just aren't telling me?! No idea what to do at this point, as they won't respond to any of my emails, and I just feel like time is ticking away... _pale_

This happened to me too! I had to contact them to reset my account. Have you worked for another company before? My problem was caused by having an account with Lionbridge. Try not to panic, LF don't seem to be the fastest at replying, and remember they are US based so replies do seem to arrive evening time.
