We always share bath water, 1 bath of water for 4 kids.
1 between me and hubby (I have to have baths it helps my muscles) but not at the same time as it's a small bath! But that depends on whether he smells of pigs or not.The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 10

My grandfather used to share bath water with my grandmother. Then after they'd both finished he'd put his hosepipe into the water and siphon it onto his tomato plants in the greenhouse. So he probably got a mouthfull of it sometimes too.
I think it's generally a good thing to be a little bit dirty anyway, within reason, because it builds up your natural resistance. I used to eat worms when I was a kid for example. "Recent research" has shown that this sort of thing reduces crones disease and the like. I'm told that this was known decades ago though.0 -
If only OH and I had a bath to share! :rotfl: there is only a shower in our flat. We used to share one when I lived in halls because the water was always hot and the showers were a bit naff. And Lush bath bombs are too lovely to experience on your own

Yes me & OH share water. Quicker than waiting to fill another bath, saves money, and saves water.0

My DS refuses to have my old bath water and I'd be slightly concerned he might have got too lazy to get out for a wee to have seconds on his!!!:A 17/10/07-Started Rosemary Conley :ATotal loss so far= 4 stone 7lbs!In the magazine Sept 08:T0

...with the Bathwater."
This saying came from the days of tin baths, when the whole family would use one bath full in order of seniority, (by age I think). The baby was last and the water was usually grey by that point, so nothing in it could be seen. Very economical and environmental. They probably used the waste water on the vegetable patch afterwards.
I rent a room, and I don't fancy sharing with my housemates, but I wouldn't be averse to sharing a bath once I live with someone.
