Me and my OH always share bath water but don't get in at the same time as often as we used to:o ! Two children under 3 change things in so many ways!
I think it's great to share it though. We always shared bath water when I was a kid and back then we only had a bath once a week on a sunday night. Phew!

We did this when I was a child; becasue it was cheaper and there was limited hot water.

I remember my Dad commenting about the tin bath and saying he was pleased he was the oldest, he got to go in first out of the many sibblings as they also shared a bath

When my 3 little ones have a bubbly bath, i usually jump in after, but i rinse off with a couple of jugs of fresh water.iyswim.

My mom lives with us, and when she has a bath, she only fills it about half full, and stays in for about 15 mins, which I think is a waste. So I jump in after she gets out, and fill it up properly and then stay there for an hour or so, until the water is cold (I like the water really hot) - but as you might have guessed, I don't have any kids, so have the time to do this!!!

Practicually every time, I have mine, not quite scalding but definatly hot, then the kids decide between them who is going in first after me. On the whole its normally my DS then DD as she likes to languish in it.

Do you share a bed with someone ? Much more germs spread that way I expect than in the bath.

me and my oh get in together all the time (well not 24 hrs a day bit every night unless he's at work)....... kids share the water too, just top up on hot when it's eldest's turn, nothing wrong with it a few germs never hurt anyone (well they did but thats what they invented antibiotics for )
    mustn't grumble
