People pull out in front of you due to their misjudging the amount of time to safely do so or simply being reckless and not caring about the problem it may cause, not because they're not seeing you.
Running lights aren't going to stop this.
Obviously you'll now counter by telling me that your 'specially designed and retrofitted' lights have eliminated people pulling out in front of you altogether, but I very much doubt that it is true.0 -

The amount of people I see driving without lights in heavy rain/spray on the motorway is scandalous. Should be a Driving Without Due Care charge, £60 + 3pts imo.
Too many autowipers and autolights and not enough common sense.
On my car if the autowipers are in full flow the dipped beam comes on automatically.0 -

Out of interest, do the headlights remain on for a period of time after the wipers are switched to intermittent/off?
I'm thinking about a motorway where it may stop raining but spray might still be an issue (requiring dipped headlights).0 -

What they really mean is to stop all the morons that drive about in fog with no lights on.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

As I said in my previous post, I for one don't need these 'gimmicks'. My car has 3 intermittent wiper speeds plus 3 constant ones. It also has dipped and main beam xenon head lamps in addition to factory fitted fog lights and I know what conditions to use both wipers and light in. Pity that we have to have such devices to be incorporated in our cars (which no doubt pushes prices up) to accommodate the less proficient drivers amongst us.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0

I can't actually remember. I do have to turn the lights on manually at times so the system isn't 100% perfect. Generally though, it works well.0 -

I think they do until you are doing less than 30mph for a period of time, tbf at this time of year they are on more often than off.0
