I'm back from forest school.
It was cold but Good all the little one's who have been doing it have all really enjoyed it.
I do have to say I think its a good idea, on the part of the Government. Around our area. there are places of extremism poverty, and not all the kids have there own gardens or gardens of grand parents or others that they can go out in and explore. There are local parks and woodland. But not all of this can be used safely.
I live In an area were there are some very rich people. and some very nice areas, And then just down the road you have complete s£it holes Which truly are bad.
I live In the good end of a bad end if you know what I mean. Around were I am there are problems. But crime is not that high. There are many good people still living here. that respect the area and other people. And there are some very good people that still believe in helping others out when ever they can.
Down the road its not like that.
The school that sits right on our door step is a problem school. That is undergoing big changes at the moment, just to try and stop it from being closed down. The school were my kids go is a very very good school and we were very lucky to get our kids in there.
But I believe we should give every kid the same chance in life.
People often talk about what sort of world are we leaving to our kids.
I have come to believe that what ever sort of world we leave them dose not matter.
I have come to ask, What sort of values are will instilling into our Kids.
We might not be able to teach each and everyone of them how to read and do maths. But if we tech them the right values, Then what ever happens to them in life and in the world they will be able to get though,
It's picking the right ones that's the problem!:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Evening All
Rosyred - Big hugs to you, hope Leo is comfortable.
LW - I agree with you, it's not the fact that horsemeat is present if only people knew. I'm glad I always cook from scratch but will be checking the mince now! Usually only eat chicken and fish - well it looks like chicken and fish!!
Tina - Hope you manage the visit tomorrow.
Judi - My friend has a DS who is doing exactly the same thing, hugs to you.
Welcome to Mumlady and Lolalemon, it's good here.
Back to work today till lunchtime and then I had an interview, I can do the job but it's difficult trying to convince the employer when I am not actually doing it at the moment! I was asked what experience I had regarding payroll and I had to say absolutely none! Decided that honesty is the best policy but can't see that I will be offered the position.
LO chicken with stir fry veg and noodles for tea, washing on airers and not a lot else. I am trying to get warm, been cold all day. DD will be battling the football crowds to get home as the green team of Glasgow are playing a big match today so it's very busy there.
Take care. XX0 -
Evening all!
Car load of assorted carp and unnecessary items taken to the dump, carload of assorted mugs, glasses, handbags from DD's room, and majority of OH's clothes taken to the hospice shop, DS has adopted his kilt which will never fit him, hadn't fitted Iain for more years than I can tell you! Still have his leather jacket in the wardrobe, and have yet to sort out the holiday clothes which are in a vacuum bag in the suitcase, however it looks like DB and his wife have separated and he is coming home from the states, he has lost his job and they are always penniless, so am fully expecting him to arrive with a carry on bag as luggage so he will maybe be able to make use of some of the clothes, will save me and mum having to totally kit him out! Good job mum kept her spare room and didn't change it into a dining room as was planned!
So, a busy if emotional day, and that's before I sort his drawers and the top of the wardrobe for his treasures, which will include all his birthday, crimbo and valentines cards, that's definitely a job for another day!
Will now reward myself with a glass of wine, and find something other than the footie to watch, although will hear the neighbours cheering if the green team score!RIP Iain

Hi all, back from work, yay
mmm sausages and mash (well, mashed cauliflower!) for tea and a chocolate snackajack with a cuppa to finish, bliss.
Made pancakes for teenage sons and hubby for afternoon tea. I was very good and didn't have one.
House looks like a tip, hubby and sons have a talent for messing up a tidy house :rotfl: but I think I'll relax tonight, get to bed earlyish and tidy up (again!) tomorrow.
Night everyone
