Hello - a bit late in but here's my plan. I have to do a seperate one for me and my OH cos he eats meat and I don't (just fish or chicken occassionally). Also, I usually eat about 5 small meals a day and he has the traditional three.

    Me:
Monday - 1. homemade meusli with soya milk; 2. 1 peice of WM toast with honey, an apple and a chunk of cheddar; 3. 1 chicken wrap with lots of salad, hummus and a dash of sweet shilli sauce; 4.chicken wrap again with a banana; 5. Bowl of HM soup with a granary roll, followed by a bowl of grapes in soya yoghurt. Snack on a mix of cashew, brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and dried blueberries throughout the day.

Tuesday - Completely the same as yesterday!

Wednesday - 1. 2. 3. 4. all the same again! 5. HM vegetable chilli and rice from the freezer followed by grapes and soya yoghurt

Thursday - 1. 2. 3. 4. same again! 5. HM Ratatouille from freezer with pasta, followed by same as usual!

Friday - 1. 2. 3. 4. same again; 5. Griddled chicken, butternut squash mash and spinach, followed by summer fruits and custard

Saturday - 1. Boiled egg on toast ; 2. banana; 3. HM soup and roll; 4. Apple; 5. HM Vegeatble lasagne from the freezer with salad from the garden and toasted ciabatta rubbed with garlic (yum, yum), followed by tropical fruit sorbet

Sunday - 1. Toast and honey, banana; 2. half a bacon sandwich; 3. Apple and chunk of cheese; 4. HM soup and a roll; 5. Roast dinner at OH's parents, I usually make pudding which this week is going to be a fruit crumble.

That's the long bit out of the way, now for my OH:

Monday: HM Beef in Guiness, jacket potato, peas and sweetcorn
Tuesday: Pork Chop (from freezer), Jacket Potato, cabbage
Wednesday: HM Bolognese (from freezer) and spaghettii
Thursday:HM Shepherds Pie (from freezer) with carrots and leeks
Friday: Same as my 5 but including new potatoes and generally a much bigger portion!
Saturday: Same as my 5 but with chips
    Sunday: Same as my 5

Everyday for breakfast he has two rounds of toast with HM jam and takes the following to work in his luch box:

Sandwiches made from a boiled gammon joint cooked on Sunday afternoon, usually using 6 rounds of bread or more and with plenty of pickle or chutney; two packets of crisps, some kind of HM cake (this week banana flapjacks), chocolate mini roll, tracker bar, apple, banana, orange, maltloaf or hot crossbun, and anything else I can find! (He works very hard!)

Phew - sorry that was really long wasn't it!:T

Isabelle- I know lots of people are asking but thats what you get for posting such yummy sounding meals! I'd really love your recipes for sweet potato and garlic soup, honey dressing, chestnut and vegetable burgers, vegetarian Moroccan couscous and tofu and fruit mousse if its not to much trouble - they all sound so nice!

First time for me! Starting from Monday here goes:-

Monday - Out for lunch, hot rolls with pate/cheese for supper
Tuesday - OH out, carrot and lentil soup from freezer for me, pasta for kids
Wednesday - Griddled salmon steaks on asparagus and parmasan risotto, salmon and jackets for kids
Thursday - Roast chicken portions/nut roast, mash, green beans, carrots (sausages for DS as he won't eat proper meat or veggie alternative)
Friday - Sweet chilli chicken/quorn fillets, wedges, salad, garlic bread
Saturday - Caramalised onion tart, potatos normande, salad or veg which needs using up
Sunday - Roast pork/nut roast, roast potatos, cauliflower cheese, brocolli, roast carrots, parsnips.

Not a very adventurous week for me this week, I am trying to clear the freezer and some cupboard space.

OH sorts himself out for lunch, I have whatever is hanging around in the fridge/cupboard. Kids have school dinners, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Tomorrow for lunch, DD will have cold chicken pasta to take, DS will have a sausage sandwich (only thing he will eat in a sandwich)

I am just going to make a nice fruit cake. I have a fruit flan on the go which I made yesterday, and plenty of yoghurt or fruit for puds.

Whenever I try and do HM potato wedges they never seem to work out. They're still pale and hard after 24 hours cooking!!!!!!!!

Can any of you share your succesful receipes to make them or will I have to go to Aldi again for theirs?

    Cheers

I par boil mine for about 10 minutes first, then toss them in some olive oil with black pepper and roast in quite a hot oven. If I don't par boil them they seem to stay hard forever!

My homemade wheat-free vegan meals this week (will decide later what to have on which day):

    vegetarian Moroccan couscous

I thought couscous WAS wheat? Semolina wheat granules rolled in wheatflour? If you're avoiding wheat for health reasons, you might want to rethink this.

You are quite right Tam Lin - couscous is wheat and that is what I use when I am cooking for friends/visitors etc. For myself, I substitute couscous with millet or quinoa. (Sorry if my post confused anybody - the same applies to the couscous and chestnut burgers).

Thanks to those of you who requested recipes from my meal plan. As the recipes actually come out of various books, I can't post them here or stick them on a website/blog because of copyright rules so I have just sent them through individually via PM. Hope that's ok. Enjoy!
