Totally lost now where I have caught up to.
My mum seems to be fading more each day, very weak tonight, could not even stay forward in the bed for me to plump up her pillows.Positive is her pain is very much under control.
Lots of tears earlier as DD2 has been home from uni for the weekend to visit her and asked me if this would be the last time she would see her. I could only answer that I didn't know. So sad for her being so many miles away. I hope she will be ok.0 -

Glad your mum's pain is under control. Know what you're going through, went through it myself a few years ago with my own mum. Hugs to you and your family Caz x0 -

Ahh! Don't know how I missed your 1st post tiny x
At least as you say the pain is under control x
I'm still not sure which is best, going quickly leaving regrets behind or going slowly, able to put your affairs in order and telling people how much you love them x
Rest assured your mum knows you all love her x"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

The thing I have found with the fridge is that seeds that don't naturally 'over winter' don't like being kept in the fridge. Dont know if you've found the same? every year I gain a new seed knowledge and am still building my understanding if what seeds to keep where. I have fridge seeds, cool dark place seeds and don't care where you keep me seeds:rotfl::rotfl:
today was spent digging up and storing my hyacinth bulbs which gave me flowers at Christmas this year( indoors) :j....my garden is also a bit weather confused this year. Spotted today....crocuses (very early) and 2 marigolds which have no business showing their faces until early summer!!
I've got a really attractive Acer Griseum(paperbark maple) which I've nurtured from being a small expensive whip 25 years ago. I tried geminating seeds from that several times by keeping them in sand and frozen in the freezer for periods to simulate it's home territory but always failed. Then lo and behold after the hard winter of 11/12 an area of gravel near the tree was full of seedlings during the spring:eek:. First time in all the time I've had it that seeds have germinated:( Nature knows best I suppose.
Haven't been active in sowing things for a few years but I really should get back to it. I'd normally have my autumn sown sweet peas ready by now for a very early show:( And I thought retirement was meant to give me more time:rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0
