    The 1/2 legs of lamb in my Tesco had like loads of fat streaked inbetween the bits of meat (Yes, I know this is how it's meant to be) it looked more like streaky bacon (I can't eat that unless it's crisped up) than a joint of meat:rotfl:

    I think that you've been unlucky. Mine have been very lean - I can't eat fat. Keep looking.

  • I keep nearly buying the 1/2 leg lamb for the DTD which makes it £1 per kilo, then I look at it and remember that there is so much fat in it that none of us will eat it, how does anybody eat lamb?

    i personaly trim the bits i dnt like the look of deam to fatty then i put in oven low for few hours then flake it up for dinners/stews like last nite or simmlar things
