Gawd how many time do you need to wash down grouted tiles before they stop having a white powdery film

Just let it dry and buff off with a dry cloth. If you use a wet cloth it will keep dragging grout out of the joints:)

i'm not sure if i posted this before but Lavender Oil is fantastic for burns.
i burned my arm really badly on the pressure cooker and sprinkled lavender oil all over the burn, took about an hour and then my arm was still red but no longer even sore to touch. just peeled a little bit like a sunburn after a week.

i promise that it works ( just check that you aren't allergic to it first) i've used it lots as for some reason i can't be trusted near irons, cookers and frying pans even the oil splatters from the wok or frying pan aims itself for a direct hit at my face.

Thanks, grass roots, that's a useful one to know.

  • I keep nearly buying the 1/2 leg lamb for the DTD which makes it £1 per kilo, then I look at it and remember that there is so much fat in it that none of us will eat it, how does anybody eat lamb?

I'm waiting for a TV or something major to go on DTD. In which case I will beat the tyrannosaurus at CD down until I get my DTD.

So what's everyone doing this weekend? Anything special?

When they used to do r&r I had tvs, mobile phones, microwaves, digital radios, hi fis, games console, irons, toasters. Presents at Xmas and B'days were much nicer from me then than now :D I also always had a freezer full of joints and chickens. Had to have some balls then, especially when overcharged only by a penny each on 2 irons.:p
