I'm getting seriously hacked off with eBay.

Sold two items to same buyer....

Buyer messages me and asks for discount on postage.

Messaged back saying can't due to size and weight and that I was being generous with postage so as not to put off bidders. Postage on each item was £4 x 2 = £8.

Marked item as shipped shortly after posting it.

Buyer contacted asking how much postage was.

Replied "£5.20"

Buyer - "You owe me £2.80 then"

Me - "Listen buddy, theres more to postage costs than the price of a !!!!!!! stamp, i.e. the box and bubble wrap and my time to go to the post office etc."

Buyer - "I'm reporting you to eBay"

I haven't done any selling on ebay for a couple of years now but have you considered using the Paypal postage labels? You need a printer to do them but they don't show the cost of postage on them so makes it less likely for any challenge to the postage cost.
