Afternoon everyone:)I have no chance of catching up properly so will start from here but Nannylala has been keeping me updated:T
Alfie went back to the vets last night and had his stitches out and we got the best news ever:T:THis Spleen wasnt malignant and it took ages for the vets to get the results because they were so convinced as it was so big that they had kept testing it:eek:The vet said Alfie has years ahead on him as hes so healthy now and the medication hes on for his limp has worked wonders too:TMe and MrLala shed a few tears at the good news I confess:o He also told us that if we had stuck with the old vets who kept insisting his stomache was fine that we would have lost him as the bleeding was so bad in his spleen, so a few sharp letters in the post already;)
Off to see DS at Uni tomorrow and can't wait as I have'nt seen him for 5 weeks:(So looking forward to it.
I hear we have a new chap on the block too,Hope he's behaving himself;)although I hear he's not too hot on changing his bed:eek:
My Bzzagent Vanish arrived today and just been accepted for the Flora Bzz:T and yesterday I got delivered a tin of coconut peanuts from the vending machine (Seems a weird combo to me:eek:) Oh and did the coke APG with Nannylala on Monday and all worked perfectly.
Still no proper internet so have a million and one cables temporarily all over the floor and as T's have b00gered up my home internet and phone, when it does finally work I shall be asking for a few GC's by way of compo..LOL.
Hope everyones good, just about to put a colour on my hair(Courtesey of A's APG last year ;)) and try and have a bit of a catchup.
Big hugs as well to anyone that needs them xx

    Nikkilala great news about Alfie

    Morning/afternoon everyone.

4 pages all ready this morning :D

mr T has sent me a mailing with 2 MOCs £4 wyb £16 of cleaning, 2 dates, any suggestions as to what to get in the hope of getting an TPP?

I have still got £3 Kim Clark MOCs but I've just seen someone say they found cheap Andrex in Sada I'd better check in their first.
Also got my Vanish buzz kit this morning with £1.50 MOCS in them.

time to start reading back, load of recs to check this morning!

Get your coupons from SSM as they are mainly for cleaning (flash spray, wul etc ) and do a TvS or TvA shop.

    Afternoon all,

    Rant alert!

Feeling a bit down today :( Went shopping this morning with my mum. Decided to wear my wig instead of usual hat to cover my head as I need to get used to wearing it more. I'm off out for a meal with some mummy friends this evening and not sure a bobble hat will look quite right in a fancy restaurant :o Well I felt really stupid in the wig, as if everyone was looking at me funny :( It looks really obvious to me that it's not my real hair and i've gone quite pale recently aswell so colour looks a little dark.

Wanted to treat myself to a new top aswell but steroids have made me put on quite a lot of weight already and ended up having to buy one a bigger size :( Should stop being so ridiculous and vain but have had a good cry about it since getting home :o

My mum did buy me some lovely flowers though to try and cheer me up :)

Off back now to catch up. Hopefully the antics of the night shift will put a smile on my face

Oh Logie, you are bound to have 'down' days. You have truly been an inspiration to many in the way you have been dealing with your illness. You are certainly not ridiculous, most of us would feel concious and imagine everybody is staring though I'm sure they weren't. I can imagine it is not nice having to buy a bigger size top but to your family and friends you are still as gorgeous as ever. Hope you have a great time tonight. Sending you big cyber hugs x

  • HI All
Yesterday was MIL funeral, weather was lovely, and all went well. Interment of the ashes on Monday.Service was lovely and five members of the family managed to do a bit in the service ,including me.

Trying to catch up on nearly 2 days, glad good news on Alfie.

Dear Dear Logie you are such an inspiration to us all on here with the way you are coping with your illness. As everyone has already said please have a wonderful time tonight with the girlies. A fight with your weight is for another day. Sending you big hugs
