Oh bless you Logie. You are NOT vain, you are human and sometimes its the details that defeat us not the crux of the matter.

But you know what ? The fact that you WANT to go out and WANT to look good when you do shows the spirit you really have. I'm sure many would hide away until out the other side

    Lots of hugs x
  • Hello all

Am off out for a trouting in my local [STRIKE]Trouts[/STRIKE] Boots in a bit, managed to print 6 Mum and Me £1 mocs :T
Good timing as a close friend had a baby 2 days ago, hurrah :).

I suspect I may come back battered and bruised but I cannot be defeated in my quest to pay almost zilch for stuff :D

good afternoon guys , just in from work, made a brew and gonna have a nice long catch up, just read the last page and found this, can someone please tell me what the coupons are for and where they can be obtained... many thanks
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

No idea how to add photos,

T was dearer on loreal kids shampoo compared to S, not sure if its useful to anyone. They are £1 each in S, 2 for £3.50 in T
Offer ends in S on 19/2
    Wishing you all good luck!

Afternoon everyone:)I have no chance of catching up properly so will start from here but Nannylala has been keeping me updated:T
Alfie went back to the vets last night and had his stitches out and we got the best news ever:T:THis Spleen wasnt malignant and it took ages for the vets to get the results because they were so convinced as it was so big that they had kept testing it:eek:The vet said Alfie has years ahead on him as hes so healthy now and the medication hes on for his limp has worked wonders too:TMe and MrLala shed a few tears at the good news I confess:o He also told us that if we had stuck with the old vets who kept insisting his stomache was fine that we would have lost him as the bleeding was so bad in his spleen, so a few sharp letters in the post already;)
Off to see DS at Uni tomorrow
Big hugs as well to anyone that needs them xx
Great news of doggielala ;) and have a fab time with DS tomorrow

    Afternoon all,

    Rant alert!

Feeling a bit down today :( Went shopping this morning with my mum. Decided to wear my wig instead of usual hat to cover my head as I need to get used to wearing it more. I'm off out for a meal with some mummy friends this evening and not sure a bobble hat will look quite right in a fancy restaurant :o Well I felt really stupid in the wig, as if everyone was looking at me funny :( It looks really obvious to me that it's not my real hair and i've gone quite pale recently aswell so colour looks a little dark.

Wanted to treat myself to a new top aswell but steroids have made me put on quite a lot of weight already and ended up having to buy one a bigger size :( Should stop being so ridiculous and vain but have had a good cry about it since getting home :o

My mum did buy me some lovely flowers though to try and cheer me up :)

Off back now to catch up. Hopefully the antics of the night shift will put a smile on my face

Oh Logie, I really feel for you. a good cry is sometimes necessary :o sending you a massive hug
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find
  • Hi Logie

A wig or a scarf, 1lb or 8lb does not change the lovely kind hearted person you are. 1 step at a time, which are mine and all on here is what we wish for you. Enjoy your evening with the girlies, and have a fantastic night.:)
