Here is a thing I am all for cleaning up dog mess as it is disgusting on the streets etc but how come you can be fined for not cleaning it up yet a horse if it has managed to escape asda/tesco meat sourcing dept can drop a bucketfull with impunity
There are always plenty of volunteers round our way to go and shovel it up and stick it on the garden:rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0 -
Afternoon all,
Rant alert!
Feeling a bit down todayWent shopping this morning with my mum. Decided to wear my wig instead of usual hat to cover my head as I need to get used to wearing it more. I'm off out for a meal with some mummy friends this evening and not sure a bobble hat will look quite right in a fancy restaurant
Well I felt really stupid in the wig, as if everyone was looking at me funny
It looks really obvious to me that it's not my real hair and i've gone quite pale recently aswell so colour looks a little dark.
Wanted to treat myself to a new top aswell but steroids have made me put on quite a lot of weight already and ended up having to buy one a bigger sizeShould stop being so ridiculous and vain but have had a good cry about it since getting home
My mum did buy me some lovely flowers though to try and cheer me up
Off back now to catch up. Hopefully the antics of the night shift will put a smile on my face
((hugs)) Logie
A dear friend lost her hair about 10 years ago through chemo and was given a wig at the hospital - we used to laugh about it because it was like a Suzi Quattro mullet  (you will be too young to remember I'm sure). Must have been left over from the 70's or something, NHS cuts and all that
She ended up getting a wig from House of Fraser or somewhere, then decided stuff it, and went out with just a scarf on. She looked and felt so much better in the scarf.
Hope you have a lovely time this evening, please try not to be worried about what other people are thinking. Anyone who cares about you will be genuinely pleased to have the pleasure of your company whatever you are wearing on your head. And anyone you don't know - well you'll never have to see them again so try not to give them even a second thought.
You are not being vain - you are being normal.
Have a super time0 -

I've never had a particularly good self imageManaged to lose 3 and a half stone and get down to my target weight though before I had DS1 and for the first time started to feel comfortable in my own skin.
Am now hovering half a stone from where I started though so feel like i'm going to have a mighty mountain to climb again. Am determined I will do it though. Just a bit worried how much more weight will go on before I can start.....
You have lost the weight before and you will again.
Try and concentrate your efforts on [STRIKE]beating this disease [/STRIKE] kicking its backside and worry about the weight later. Your body will have a much more successful chance of losing the weight when you are healthy.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
