Afternoon all,
Rant alert!
Feeling a bit down todayWent shopping this morning with my mum. Decided to wear my wig instead of usual hat to cover my head as I need to get used to wearing it more. I'm off out for a meal with some mummy friends this evening and not sure a bobble hat will look quite right in a fancy restaurant
Well I felt really stupid in the wig, as if everyone was looking at me funny
It looks really obvious to me that it's not my real hair and i've gone quite pale recently aswell so colour looks a little dark.
Wanted to treat myself to a new top aswell but steroids have made me put on quite a lot of weight already and ended up having to buy one a bigger sizeShould stop being so ridiculous and vain but have had a good cry about it since getting home
My mum did buy me some lovely flowers though to try and cheer me up
Off back now to catch up. Hopefully the antics of the night shift will put a smile on my face
It must be usual to feel a bit self conscious, but my friend who is in same situation as you looks amazing in her wig so if people were looking that could be whyYou definitely are not vain, but you are amazing!

Had a look in S this morning, valentines stuff is almost all gone with a few squashed roses left around 30p,
I picked up a new nectar card and added 10 points on from a womble I found. I am convinced that the reason why I only ever get the "160 points if you spend X instore or online" is because for a year I had home delivery after having my daughter - so I am testing out a new card to see if I get some better MOCs.
I plan to use it for shops under £5 and will register it later. I will let you know how it works out.
Use this new card just for £1 spends about once a week. my spare card gives me conditional spends for £20 shops and sometimes its 200 points for £20 spends.
These I use with my main card for £20 shops and the main card gives me conditional spends for £60 shopswhich I always pass along or give away

Adding my hugs to the group hug, you're surrounded now, and you're not being vain at all as everyone said already every woman would feel the same and your wig will feel more natural in time. Have a lovely evening (inserts group hug icon here, as on my mobile and I haven't worked out how to add icons yet) xxx"We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

Oh my days....my OH has just bought some fishing gear on flea bay. He was just about to pay £10!!!! postage for it:eek::eek: and then he mentions that the stuff is in Blackpool...about 4 miles away.
I asked him why he didn't message the seller and asked if he could pick it up. He said he didn't like asking FGS:mad:.....so Ive done it and am off to pick it up this afternoon. Obviously my money saving ways aren't rubbing off on anyone around here:mad::mad:0 -
Hello all
Am off out for a trouting in my local [STRIKE]Trouts[/STRIKE] Boots in a bit, managed to print 6 Mum and Me £1 mocs :T
Good timing as a close friend had a baby 2 days ago, hurrah.
I suspect I may come back battered and bruised but I cannot be defeated in my quest to pay almost zilch for stuff0 -

Thanks lovelies :A
I've never had a particularly good self imageManaged to lose 3 and a half stone and get down to my target weight though before I had DS1 and for the first time started to feel comfortable in my own skin.
Am now hovering half a stone from where I started though so feel like i'm going to have a mighty mountain to climb again. Am determined I will do it though. Just a bit worried how much more weight will go on before I can start.....♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
